Destination: A Kinder World
There's a place I've been wanting to visit for quite awhile. There won't be any strangers there because everyone you meet will become a friend. No car horns will be honking because patience will be plentiful. Derogatory names won't be used as words will be filtered through a veil of compassion, and people would rather sit and talk awhile than to waste precious energy and time arguing about something that won't matter in twenty years.

There is no magic outside the comfort zone!
You must have come across the images of Venn diagrams depicting the intersection of comfort / discomfort as Magic Zone. I don’t quite agree and that’s where the problem begins. This is the area where the specter of Inner Critic lurks around with self-doubt ready to make you question your efforts and belittle everything you have achieved so far.

Let's Talk Quarantine
Alright, hear me out. I asked a couple of weeks ago what everybody was doing during quarantine so I could make a list for anybody who needed some ideas. I sat on it. I viewed suggestions. I jotted down all the different things I was doing. I compiled information about people who were doing cool things in specific quarantine areas. If that’s what you’re here for, here are some starters...

ways to stay productive during this time.
CREATE A SCHEDULE FOR YOUR DAY When you go to work every day you normally have a specific amount of time you spend at the office. This schedule should not change even though you’re working from home no matter if it’s job searching or of it’s a regular job.

All Hope Is Not Lost
I am feeling a little bit lost. I have a heavy pain in my chest from my anxiety constantly crushing my ribs. I have a feeling of sadness that comes and goes, but usually stays to remind me that I am sad and feeling hopeless. I am 20 years old and I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at the age of 13. This past year has felt like I have hit my rock bottom. Feeling so empty and unsure of myself. I moved to Australia when I was 18. Having nothing but two suitcases. I had such big ideas of what my life here, in Australia would become. When I was 14 years old, I was admitted into a Mental Health facility for 1 week. I actually was the one that asked for help. I knew that I needed help and wanted to get better. When I was 14 years old, my depression was unbearable. I felt so fucking lonely. I was self harming and truly contemplating suicide. I never, in my life had felt that way before. After I spent a week there, I came out and felt better. Still sad, but better. But now I am feeling that way again. Feeling helpless and hopeless. Living in constant anxiety and sadness. So anxious to the point that I can't leave my apartment. Fearful that my life will be nothing but sadness and anxiety.

Food and the Glorious Fury
So this is an essay that I wrote some time ago but something about it has always stuck with me and I can't quite shake how it feels to read it after all this time. It was an assignment given to me in High school by my English Teacher, and it became so personal that I never really got rid of it. So, here it is for the world, or a small part of it ...

Why Adventure & Life Coaching?
Life isn’t always easy. It comes with obstacles and challenges that don’t always have a road map. We all have answers to overcome life challenges, but we often need help finding them to achieve success and the life we desire. This is where a Life Coach becomes an asset - and I believe adding adventure into the mix is the best recipe.

Starting where I am
Sitting here thinking what if I would have been put all this energy into my dreams a long time ago, how far would I be today. I am 30 years old. I am a single mom of 4 an I gets the mommy job done. The way I feel is best. Last year I began my journey to following my Dreams. In January 2020, I began to give one hundred percent to my dreams. No matter how crazy people looked at me, or how it made them feel this is my life an i'm going to live it out loud. I saw the doubt in peoples faces but that didn't phase me. I just kept pushing an pursuing.

You Control your Destiny
I have graduated almost a year ago as an Electrical Engineer. I went on to work with one of the biggest Aerospace companies in the world, known as Parker Hannifin. The moment COVID-19 hit, me along with half the staff around all the sites got laid off. I gave myself 10 days to see if I could find anything else in the area, and since I didn’t, I packed my bags and moved back with the family.

What is a Queer Boss?
What is a QueerBoss? I am one of 63,026. That’s the population of the island of Guernsey where I was born. You might not have heard of it before, but it’s coupled with a few other islands in between the UK and France. It can be a bit strange at times, the phone boxes are yellow, the road names are French (even though the island speaks English) and ultimately it’s famous for a special breed of cows. I lived on Guernsey until I was 11 years old. My parents ran a busy guest house in the centre of the island, and my life was pretty simple. Around this time was the first significant shift in my life. I didn’t know who I was going to be yet or where I wanted life to take me. So I was shocked and confused when my parents told me we were moving. They were planning for us all to move from Guernsey to mainland UK. At age 11, the thought of losing my friends, my school and pretty much everything I ever knew was devastating. I cried, pleaded and flat out refused to move. Little did I know that would be the start of an enormous self-discovery journey. One that simply wouldn’t have happened if I stayed confined to the island of 63,026.
