MY GREEN TEMPLE
Swirling and dancing in the air, a tiny leaf lands softly on the ground. I’m mesmerized by all of my favourite shades of green on this one leaf, all merging into one another like water-coloured paint after it’s been spritzed with H20. How truly beautiful something so simple can be. I take a long, deep breath and consciously feel the dew-filled air and the sweet smell of pine enter my body. This breath feels familiar to me. I know I have arrived.

Staying Mentally Strong
If you grew up playing the board games Life, Risk, or Monopoly, then you know events can change a player's fortunes quickly. If you’ve lived long enough, then you know life is continually changing with a revolving door of obstacles to overcome. Some are merely pebbles to step over, and others are mountains to be climbed. A person with low mental strength will turn the pebbles into mountains and give up trying to win the game. One who is resilient makes the mountain a heap of stones and push toward winning.

How to Be Unapologetically You When You're Experiencing Imposter Syndrome
As a child, I was considered “bright for my age” (whatever that means?) – one of those kids that always wins the spelling bee, rarely gets a question wrong on a test, and somehow becomes the teacher’s assistant and has bestowed upon her the job of grading fellow students’ math tests (side note: this is weird, right?). It was like this through all three of the middle schools I attended as well as through high school until I reached university and was quite literally surrounded with what felt like 11,000 replicas of myself. Feeling inadequate went from being a shock to being a daily occurrence.

Love letter to the suffering artist
We all come to the point of being at a crossroad of choosing a life or career path. It’s really one decision for both of these things. You’re not just deciding on a career, you will be devoting most of your life to this. You want it to be something of your own creating. You want it to be your love child, your homegrown flower.

Hearts to be Filled
How do you open your heart when the part about opening your heart was always shut off by your peers and others around you? I remember growing up and having a mother figure who thought I had heart problems my whole entire life; others even thought I was struggling with heart problems when I was only a few days old. These were not very good signs to carry into my lifetime journey, I knew that something was not right when you have connections around you who continuously stare at you believing there is something not quite right with you. How can you even comprehend the meaning of someone not being quite right in the head if all you hear are negative opinions of others constantly putting you down?

What do you want to create?
The question is always given to us at many points in our lives; What do you want to do with your life? We get sick of hearing this so often that at times doubt comes into our minds. Making us wonder are we doing what we are supposed to be doing with our lives. I'm not here to tell you whether your doing it right or wrong. We all have rocky roads and paths we need to take to get to where we are destined to be. Yes, there are going to be times we won't like where we are and be frustrated. Though there are those times, we will overcome them! Seeing the sunshine and happiness in between. Then when looking back at times you'll find peace knowing why you went through why you went through what you did. As I write this let's get to having fun thinking about why we want to create things or how we want to create our lives. --Shall we?

The benefits of book reading: An analysis
The common perception of a book A book is usually regarded as a source of information, knowledge, entertainment and communication for the reader. Although it’s the tool of expression of the writer’s personal ideas and thoughts, it’s incredible how it may take different colors depending on each reader’s actual perception of those ideas and thoughts.

adaptability
“Ahhh blissful uncertainty!” - said no one ever. How many times in your life have you had to wait for answers? Endure ‘not knowing’ while things outside of your control reached resolution? Attempt patience while the universe worked itself out? My guess is a lot. And my guess is that this year is testing your capacity & tolerance for this challenging act of waiting, enduring, and attempting patience. It’s certainly (ha) testing mine.
