Seen it all
I've seen it all. I've seen every society on Earth. I am a 15,000 year old barn owl. I don't have a name, and I never will. I've never seen a need for them anyway. Ever since my birth, I've seen the evolution of humanity. I've seen the taming of the horse to the invention of the smartphone. I've seen countless wars, the making of the silk road, the egyptian monarchy, and everything else. It's both a blessing and a curse that my body has managed to see this day. It's all going downhill from where I see it, and I've seen it all anyway.

the pale angel
The barren nights seemed emptier these days. Life was heavy and discomforting, and the woman had become a shell of her former self. Struggling with insomnia, lying uncomfortably on a messy bed, she simply stared out the open windows’ gaping black hole into a moonless night. The woman seemed not to care for the freezing cold the open passage blasted at her. She thought it to be relevant and resonating with her current mood. Sadness radiated from her. She silently cried and held herself for comfort. “How could I be this lonely?”, she questioned. The torrent of existential pain bared down as if she carried the weight of the world, which in a way, she did. She noticed a solitary star peek out from under rolling dark clouds. In the void of color in the dismal night, it was pretty and sympathetic, and seemed to appear just for her purpose. So, she forced herself up off the bed, stuck her head out the window and peered into the night at the twinkling light. A single tear rolled down her cheek, dripped off her chin, leaving a trail across her cheek that chilled quickly in the windy, winter night. She gathered her composure, took a shaky breath, and whispered up to the heavens, “Starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight. Wish I may, wish I might, please grant this wish I wish tonight?”.

Whole-hearted Living . Third Place in Fresh Start Challenge.
The beginning of spring; when flowers begin to bloom, songs of animals echo around the surrounding nature, and a gentle breeze can be felt as it caresses the skin. Birth. Life. Renewal. These are a few terms that are often associated with spring, and in turn dictate a large course of our planet's cyclical balance.

Step-by-step guide to scheduling
Well for some of us we need and thrive on a schedule, for many others it's just a hard thing to do. Maybe you make a schedule, but you feel like you are not being the most effective throughout the day. Most people can make a schedule or a plan, but it might not be the most effective way to go through your day. Making an effective schedule is something else all together. I find that I need a schedule, a to-do list, something that gives me task that I need to accomplish and something to bring scrutcure to my day. When I was laid off the first time during the pandemic, I didn't really make a schedule. And I found that the days just blended together. I also felt like I came out of the 2 months wondering what I did with all that time and feeling like I had wasted an opportunity. So going into it for the second time I made sure that I was going to do things differently to make use of my time.

Three-Hundred and Sixty Degrees.
A glimmer of hope born of idealized fanaticism, seemingly, that is what it was to me at the time, although If you looked close enough you would surely see the thing I would now call something that was just beyond sheer belief, a concrete knowing- so innate; within my little sister Xanadu’s eyes, like it existed there within her before she even did. Something ancient, something entirely familiar yet so completely foreign sat in her gaze.

Epiphany
Cycles are the foundation of progress and stagnancy. Earium thought as she struggled to make sense of her life. Always ends at the same place. I take a jump and end up lost, a failure. What am I doing wrong? Earium hoped her thoughts were going somewhere as she stared at the rural night sky with its multitude of stars that answered her with silence. Starlight illuminated the branches of oak trees, Russian olive trees, fence lines, and wheat stalks but not answers.

What do you want them to remember about you?
Somewhere along the way, I’m guessing you’ve seen one of my famous live transformations. I’m known for taking how someone talks about themself from boring to brilliant in a matter of moments. It’s fun for the person because they get to hear how great they are from someone else’s perspective, and it’s fun for me because I get to tell someone how awesome they are.

The hurt and the hurdles
Pain sucks. Physical or emotional, pain sticks with you longer than you would like. It’s also kind of magical. Like a David Copperfield trick, it can be as real as a coin that you hold in your hand. Then just as suddenly, it goes away, only to reappear when you least expect it.

The Best Advice I Can Give About Self-Love
Hey guys! let's talk about Love. Not only love of any kind, but one of the most important types of love, aka self-love. Earlier this week, I saw Lucille Ball's quote: "Love yourself first and get everyone else in line. To get anything in this world you really have to love yourself. " can I get an amen?! But seriously, I love that dialect. Sometimes it is so easy to pour our love into others, without realizing that we are not feeding ourselves the same love. One thing I have learned over the years is that self-love is something that I have to practice every day in every way. The moment I started practicing the art of self-love was the moment when I started imaginatively receiving love in every form in my life.
