Fresh Start
This year to give myself a fresh start, I tried something I have never tried before. Usually, I don’t make resolutions because I believe that if you want to make a change that should start right away. You don’t need to wait for a new year, someday, next Monday, or for something to happen that forces you to make a change.

I Will Never Give Up My Self-control, Again
Your getting excited... You know that what your doing is what your supposed to be doing. You've been PROCRASTINATING, for, if we were to be 100% honest... longer than you wanted. And that PROCRASTINATION has been what, in my experience, procrastinating with never reaching the stars and all that I dream. But why? Why, when I have 100% ability to do so?

A New Approach
This year I decided to gather all the jewels I had obtained throughout the years. I took them over to my barn and laid them all out. I sat in a chair in the middle of the area, closed my eyes, and while focusing on my breathing, I forgot everything I ever learned, had been told, or even what thought I knew. It was at that moment that I began to receive messages as if from beyond this realm. A key appeared and with it, a note that read: Take this key and use it wisely for it is the key to your heart open it up and allow the information to flow in and out as the breath does when you inhale and exhale. I had no idea what this was all about but I took the key and put the note in my pocket. As I stepped up to the door of my heart I felt a wave hit me almost immediately. It was and rejuvenating like the sight of a waterfall peaking out from the mountainside.

Intentional Living
It's been an interesting turn of events during this thing we call life. Often times the thought of why or how one can continue on but with every moment the realization sets in that someone has to do it. So many wish, hope, pray for the strength to press on through life as they take one step forward to only take what it seems as ten back. I've felt like this and even now fight the urge to stop my thoughts from wondering how I'll be able to press on but I know that I must.

I am manifest's destiny: starting new- not over
I’ve always associated New Years with the dreaded task of “Resolutions” to be the standard concept of simply "getting in shape". Somehow the physical change, be it weight loss or weight gain seemed to be the only mark of “growth” for our society because its tangible evidence of something, proof of one's "efforts" and "dedication".

Mirror, Mirror
Have you ever looked into a mirror but not really seen who is staring back at you.? Before Covid-19 took over the world, I remember waking up at 7:08 am every day, taking exactly 52 minutes, to get check my phone for weather and news updates, put on the clothes I picked out the night before, pack my lunch, and do a mental once over in the mirror infront of my door, in order to walk out of the apartment before 8:00 am to walk the 20 minutes to my office, with 10 minutes to spare to put my lunch in the break room, make my tea and have precisely 5 minutes of office shop talk before logging on to the rest of my scheduled day.

Fresh start, clean slate
With patience and time the reality that exist in our minds can be manifested into something so pure, so beautiful that it feels as though it's just a dream. There have been many instances where I try to mentally land on my feet after daydreaming about my future and the fresh start each new opportunity presents. I currently find myself beat down, worn out and soulfully EXHAUSTED. I've had three deaths in the family, two of which occurred in January alone. Throw in a multitude of other issues and stresses and I'm just about ready to scrape up enough money to take a flight to some uncharted island in the deep Pacific to have a moment of solitude to contemplate my next move.
