Three Simple Steps That Will Change How You Live Life

Okay, I know you must be thinking, "life can't always be happy," and yes, to an extent that is true. But if you follow these three simple steps that are really easy, but really hard to put into action, you'll be on your way to leading a happy life. So let's get into it!

Step One: Put yourself above everyone and everything else. Period.

Yes. I know it sounds selfish, but the only way you will ever feel that life is not just a bunch of trials is when you put yourself first. It may be letting go a bad relationship, or simply making a decision about whether or not you need to go to a party. Think about what is best for YOU and what will make YOU happy in the end. The more you put your own opinions and thoughts first, the more you'll come to enjoy all the other little things in life that make it fulfilling... but of course, don't be a prick while you're at it! Know when it is right to let go and know when you need to stand your ground.

Step Two: Stop thinking about petty issues and making life complicated.

Nope. Just stop right there. The more you think about what so-and-so said, the messier and complicated things will become in your mind. Instead, channel positive thoughts. Think about things that you need to accomplish rather than what Becky was wearing last night, or who she was with. Write this big and clear in you head in all caps: FORGET ABOUT PETTY ISSUES. Just let it go... let it go. When you stop thinking about small things, greater things will happen. Use your thinking ability to make big things happen for yourself and the people you love. Use that power in the right way.

Step Three: Who cares what anyone thinks about you?

Worrying about what others think about you is a slow and painful path to self destruction. That is the best way to put it. I know we all want the people we surround ourselves with to love us. And only love us. But come on, there will always be that one douche that will have a problem with you even if you've never done anything wrong to them. It's just how people are, they're confusing little creatures. So instead of worrying about why that person hates you, just continue doing what you're doing and pay no attention. It is easier said than done. But when it is done, you will feel like nothing in the world is holding you down. You will be capable of achieving so much more by having that weight lifted off your shoulders which constantly kept pulling you down.

So there you have it. Believe it or not, these three steps, if put into action can do wonders. It will literally change your life and you will feel so much better when you start realizing how easy it is to just live. So go out there and live for yourself, make good decisions, and don't let opinions of others who barely know you stop you from soaring high heights.
