Our daily living and engagements are and will be based and focused on these twelve letter words called, "PRODUCTIVITY." It has been known to be one of the apex or end results we require to get at the end of all endeavors or activities. There is absolutely no joy to be derived when you are unproductive. Productivity and its results can not be overemphasized, it is a goal we all must always look out for at the end of our daily activities or works, a lot of people over time have been stuck at just one level and they don't seem to increase as time moves, they tend to operate under the normal level or should i say the first level of productivity.

Productivity can and should be increased from time to time, if you feel you are not productive enough you can run a check on whatever you have been doing and decide on whatever you have and need to add to increase your productivity. I will be carefully explaining how to increase your productivity, but then what do we mean when we talk about productivity or being productive, the first thing we need to know is that productivity is a way to measure efficiency. There is no better way to go about measuring efficiency, being efficient is part of the activity we do on a daily basis, but being productive is the goal or endpoint we look forward to getting at the end of our efficiency.

Another definition of productivity i will like to talk about is an interesting one, it talks about productivity as the means by which you get the results you want in less time or effort. When you are truly looking at how to be productive what you are actually saying is that you are looking for a way to achieve your goals while having time to spend on what matters. Research has shown that productivity can be achieved by focusing on meaningful elements of a larger goal. It will also interest you to know that the first three letters and the last four letters, "Pro" and "Tivity," can be said to mean an expert in activities. Now that we have explained all about the meaning of productivity now let's see how we can get it to increase.

To increase your productivity you have to get a to-do list of your daily activities. You need to write it down and not just have them on your head, writing down your to-do list helps you create the awareness of your daily schedule and it also helps you know how to go about all you have to do by that way you can be efficient, and at the end of the day productive. It is a continuous action. The other thing i would like to talk about is that you should always set realistic goals. You need to set goals that are realistic not a goal that will warrant to consultation of a superpower to get it done, once your goals are realistic you are set to increase and be productive.

Another thing you need to do is to track and limit. What do i mean, this is talking about taking charge of your time, you need to track the time you spend on certain activities, you should ask questions like do you waste time whenever you are trying to get that particular task done or not, if you notice you take more time you can limit the time you spend on it, by so doing you can divert your time to other things and get them done. Productivity can only increase if you minimize distractions, distractions disturb your focus, and denies you of been productive. You need to take the bold step of getting rid of all those things that can cause distraction and by this, i'm not saying you throw your phone off the window, all i am saying is you can silence your phone so you won't be disturbed by notification from your apps trust me if you are not disciplined and you decide to read a chat you might end up reading all the messages and emails you have on it.

Endeavor to be productive, your productivity can be increased by following this laid down step above, you can be rest assured to be an expert in your activities and together we can all be twice as tall.
