You may not know what is going to be like tomorrow, you may not know if you should stay or leave this country, you don’t know if you want to keep your day job and you don’t even know if you want to keep writing on this platform or anywhere else ever again. Everything you know today is going to change radically and the fact that you will not be the same is the only certainty. This is the Metamorphosis, again and again until the end of the days. Physically. Mentally. Spiritually. Being in a continuous evolution of traits. But while and because of this transition, I urge you to do a consciousness exam.

When your eyes are tired and your heart starts to talk again, you have no choice but to listen. When you missed so much listening to your heart but in your defence the mind needed full attention to make sense of many experiences which shape you into who you are today. When you have listened a lot to your mind when it's chatting wouldn’t stop and when would take you to the past and would make you remember the rough times and the words that hit so badly. That’s when you have never given up on yourself and your kind soul. Somehow, you knew that in the end you will survive and you will become an emotionally balanced person, even if normality scared you.

There is no end to evolution and there is no end to learning, but meanwhile, you need to live as well. There is no better teacher than today and then the now. In the now I can write and I can enjoy it, see? In the now happens things that if you don’t pay attention, you will have missed them forever, things that could make this life living better and could give you some hope for tomorrow. Just like being happy for no reason, focusing on what you have without focusing on what you don’t have, or worse, taking it for granted.

The transition teaches to have patience and that you are on the path of a new beginning. There is this peace before the storm feeling and all you need to do is to rest before the new phase begins. No need for blaming yourself or harming your body. Patiently waiting for life to unfold the next storm, either noisy or not, it has its own music. The body follows that music and it gives feedback along the way, predicting and protecting from the irrational brain bombarded by the endless dopamine attacks from today's world. The ultimate goal is far too important to not risk it all. You will learn that passion can be lost if is not pursued. You will learn that words matter only if they match with actions.

Everything can change in matters of hours or days but relationships that last longer are reciprocal and compromise is inevitable. You learn to take care of your actions and your reactions by trusting your body feelings. Given that discrimination and rejection are just another consequence of the trauma, you learn to have compassion for those who hurt you out of ignorance or neediness. You learn to be kind with yourself and with others for no reason to make it shine and rise brighter and stronger. As you appreciate your needs and wants, You learn to understand others’ weaknesses without judging or hating them, as will only bitter your heart and lower your vibration.

You learn to enjoy and love what you have now.

You learn to love yourself when nobody is around.

As I did!

Writing is like pulling the trigger against the paper or the keyboard to liberate the most naïve and dark thoughts. We do it all the time and it feels great all the time. One of the great tools we all have at our hands to survive and to thrive to the trouble, the despair, to the existence and to the pain. Together with any other creative expression, writing will help to express feelings and to understand your transition over time. The most healthy way to explore the realm of emotions and to deal with life in a beautiful manner. Choosing the creative expression will keep you away from more destructive and unhealthy medicines for the soul and will force you to look inwards.

Lastly,

Transition is scary, and it isn’t always comfortable. The precious lessons learnt through battles sometimes bloody and sometimes hard can’t be forgotten and won’t be forgotten. The Mind and the Heart have developed into some sort of database and all the experiences and all the good from the past are packed carefully in different folders. The transition will only be possible because of the solid background created previously and is taking place at a slow pace to accommodate all the inner components and to become steady and won’t be a fast transition but will last long.

Until the next time, stay strong and focus on the good around you!
