This story is about cunning. It was some time ago. In a village there lived a headman named Yujvendra. He was very stingy. He always stayed away from spending money for the betterment of the village.

Once there was a drought in the village due to which the people of the village could not get drinking water easily and there was a lot of trouble for water. For a few days the people of the village continued their work by bringing water from another village, but after a few days the people of the other village also refused to give water.

After that all the people of the village together went to the headman and asked the headman to dig a well in the village so that the people of the village could drink water in case of drought. The headman told the villagers that it would take a lot of money to dig a well. And I don't have that much money. A clever boy named Kush lived in the village. Kush told all the villagers that we all should dig a well together.

All the villagers liked this talk of Kush and they all agreed. All the people of the village collected money and started the work of digging the well.

For a few days all the villagers together dug the well, but after that one day it so happened that while digging the well a huge stone came in front and because of that the work of digging the well stopped. Now it was not possible to proceed with the work of digging the well without breaking this stone.

More money was needed to break this stone but the money collected was not enough for that. Kush told the people of the village that now you all leave this work to me.

When no one was there in the night, Kush came and put 4-5 drops of oil in the well. The next morning when the people of the village saw oil in the well, then the word spread in the whole village that oil was coming out of the well.

When the head of the village came to know about this, he greedily told the villagers that he will get this stone broken and also get the whole well dug. After this the headman of the village got the work of digging the well started and the rest of the wells were dug by themselves in a few days.

The chief was expecting oil to come out of this well, but water started coming out of the well. All the people of the village became very happy after seeing the water.

The chief came to know that someone had fooled him. In this way, due to the cleverness of Kush, the money of the villagers was also saved and the well itself was also destroyed.

Everyone in the village thanked Kush for his cleverness.
