1. You are creative.

Dr. Katie Davis, a neurologist, told Business Insider that art is a clear sign of intelligence because it requires flexible thinking / out of the box and requires the ability to change and shift your thinking from one way to another.

I have worked with many founders of the advertising agency - they are some of the smartest people I have ever met. Their ability to understand and translate into a message that illuminated the benefits of my product in a compelling, memorable way is a job few can only do “smart people”. I used to go after a good presentation of an ad campaign thinking, "Their brains work differently." Creativity is its smart product.

2. He is unclean.

Kathleen Vohs of the University of Minnesota says she is a very intelligent, intelligent person. A Vohs study published in Psychological Science has revealed two groups that have been asked to develop creative methods for Ping-Pong balls. One group worked in a strange, overcrowded area while the other worked in an organized area. The bizarre team explored a broader range of creative and interesting ideas.

So before you hit your busy desk regularly, give yourself a few IQ points instead.

3. Curious.

If you enjoy reading, you will learn a lot and you will find the wisdom you need. Science supports this. A study conducted at Goldsmiths University of London found that “how people spend their time and energy on their intellect” (meaning feeding their curiosity) plays a major role in mental development.

But it is not just a lot of learning that makes you wise, it requires a lot of learning, which is common in smart people. Research in the Journal of Individual Differences has shown an association between people who benefited most from IQ tests at an early age and adults who were curious and open to new ideas.

Psychology research from Georgia Tech has also shown that those with high curiosity tolerate ambiguity, which requires a complex thinking style.

4. You talk to yourself.

No, it's not a sign that you're crazy - on the contrary. Studies by psychologists Paloma Mari-Beffa and Alexander Kirkham of Bangor University have shown that self-expression promotes self-control, an important form of intelligence. Provide study participants with a set of activities and written instructions, asking them to read the instructions silently or aloud. The rated evaluation and performance of those who read aloud were significantly better.

Speaking loudly to control the nets, which is why many professional athletes speak loudly during sports. Which brings us to the next sign.

5. You have high self-control.

Whether you exercise self-control or not, it is a sign of weakness. A 2009 psychology course from Yale University provided participants with IQ tests and gave them a cash prize they could get sooner or later (at a higher price). Those who chose to wait had higher IQ scores, which shows that resilience in making unwise decisions and carefully weighing options goes

hand in hand with prudence.

6. You are right by being alone.

If you love your company and do not always need to be close to others, that is a sign of wisdom. Research published in the British Journal of Psychology has shown that there is a link between contentment and solitude and intelligence. I use my time alone to think, prioritize, and plan, which strengthens self-control (mark No. 5).

7. He is funny.

A 2011 psychological study of the University of New Mexico found that professional comedians and funnier cartoonists scored higher on the wisdom of words. This adds up, as some of the smartest people I know have a keen sense of humor and a sense of humor.

8. You have an open mind.

A 2008 Yale University psychology study revealed that highly intelligent people are more inclined to open up to the opinions of others, not to construct their own, to the point of hearing too many words. This is not to say that they are flexible, however, as research has shown that people with an open mind are more likely to be confident in their own ideas once they have done so and are less likely to be exploited.

9. You are not sure if you are particularly wise.

Psychologists have found the Dunning-Kruger effect, which states that people who are incompetent or inconsistently intensify their mental capacity while intelligent people are better aware of their limitations.

And knowing your limitations means that you may be around people to reduce your limitations. It also makes you more hungry for learning more, which makes you more creative (sign Number 3). As Shakespeare puts it, "A fool thinks he is wise, but a wise man knows he is a fool."
