20 Reasons You Shouldn't Take Your Life

I've been there. Life is not always kind to us. Sometimes you want to throw in the towel. But you've made it this far. There are plenty of reasons to keep going. So, here we go.

1.

Butterflies. Their colorful wings? Forget about it. Incredibly beautiful pieces of art that hangout right outside your house. Free to look at.

2.

Pizza. Crispy crust, zesty sauce, and all of that gooey cheese. Pizza is enough to make anyone happy because there's a million and one different ways to top a pizza.

3.

Bubbles! Bubble baths, blowing bubbles, even those little bubbles that spurt out of the dish soap bottle when it gets squeezed. Lots of fun.

4.

Dogs. Their little faces. Their cute paws. When they hang their head out the window during a car ride. The way they shake their whole body when they're excited. Dogs are stinking adorable.

5.

A blank journal. There's nothing better than a brand new journal to write in. The possibilities for creation are endless. Memoir? The Great American Novel? A poem? It's really up to you.

6.

Cupcakes. A tiny version of a cake, piled high with frosting and preferably sprinkles. Cupcakes are a gift to the world.

7.

Music. There are all types; Top 40 hits, punk, gospel, etc. Listening to music calms the nerves and inspires. A day without any music is like macaroni without cheese.

8.

Autumn. A gorgeous season of change. All the leaves from from their trees and fall to the ground, changing their appearance. Food is harvested. Pumpkins are ready to be carved. There's not much more satisfying than the crunch crunch of an autumn leaf underneath your sneakers.

9.

Literature. A good book can be life changing. Crack open a book and it can take you on adventures across the earth for free. Live in a different world for a while, it can do a person some good.

10.

Rocks. The earth's gift to mankind. Each rock is different in its own way just like humans. Smooth, jagged, large, small. All rocks are precious.

11.

Snow. The first snow fall is a magical experience. The weather changes and you can smell in the air. Fluffy, cold snow begins to fall from the sky and makes you fall in love with it all over again.

12.

A big fluffy blanket fresh from the dryer. Toasty and warm. Snuggled up in it on a cold evening. There's something about it that brings smiles to a person's face.

13.

Netflix. Arriving home from a day's work, there's nothing more relaxing than sprawling out on the couch to binge a whole bunch of episodes of your favorite show.

14. Kittens

Kittens. The baby version of a cat. Their tiny, squeaky meows. Their little paws. Kittens have the cutest noses. Kittens are one of the most adorable species in the animal kingdom.

15. Trees

Trees. Not only are trees beautiful, they're also the giver of oxygen, and fruit. Plus, in the fall their leaves change to red and orange, a very gorgeous sight.

16.

Beaches. Sun, sand, and serenity. The sounds of the waves crashing into the shore is therapeutic, gives you perspective. At the beach, you're really alive.

17.

Your favorite shirt. Nothing feels more comfortable than a favorite shirt besides maybe your own skin. There's a reason it's your favorite, it's special to you. Putting it on could change the mood of your whole day.

18.

The County Fair. Where else could you get an elephant ear, ride a terrifying ferris wheel, and win a goldfish all in one place? A day at the fair is good for anyone, young or old.

19.

Spring. A time of new. Baby animals, flowers blooming. Spring cleaning. Winter is over and warm weather is coming.

20.

Hot cocoa. On a old winter day, going back home and settling in with a big mug of steaming hot cocoa is the best. Drop a handful of marshmallows in and you're all set.
