If you are a woman, then you know just how hard it can be to make time for yourself. However, it is necessary to set aside just a little of your time a few days a week to ensure you stay strong and healthy. If you have not found the time to workout, then read further to obtain a few helpful tips to help get you on the right track. I have compiled a list of cardio workouts for women to give you a head start until you find a workout regimen that is suitable specifically for you. Remember to have fun with these workouts, and switch them up from time to time to ensure you do not get bored.

If you are new to working out, then consider simply taking a walk. It is necessary to get your heart rate up to ensure you get a great cardio workout. As you progress in your workout abilities, consider walking up and down stairs briskly or running. You will find in no time you are shedding unwanted pounds, you can think more clearly, and you sleep far better at night. If you are extremely stressed, then it is easy to lessen your stress simply by taking a walk each night.

Once you feel your energy levels increasing it is time to step up your workout. There are great moves such as burpees, mountain climbers, and lunges that will help you tighten your body in a very short time. Just remember to stick with your workout to obtain the best results. If you want a more traditional workout, then consider doing push-ups, jumping jacks, and squats. You can use any of these moves and incorporate them into what is called high intense interval training. HIIT is a form of workout that leaves very little room for resting in between exercises. If you are not ready for fast paced, then do not start this form of exercise just yet.

Listen to your body and rest when necessary. It is also very important to make sure you are drinking plenty of water and eating sensibly. It is wise to keep a lot of healthy fruits and vegetables around to snack on because your appetite will increase from all of the calories you are burning. To add fuel to your workout consider eating healthy carbs prior to your workout, and then eating a healthy protein afterwards to help your body recover faster.

If you opt to join a class, then there are several fun exercise classes such as Zumba that offer a great cardio workout. You will enjoy the chance to dance the weight off, rather than feeling like you are working hard to shed those unwanted pounds. If dancing is not something you prefer, then consider a kickboxing class or something that will keep you interested. If you prefer to stay home, then work on building a workout that is designed specifically for you. For instance, jump rope for 20 seconds, do 5 push-ups, then 15 squats, etc. You can easily design a full-body cardio workout that will target all of your problem areas.

As long as you keep up with your workout you will easily see results, and continue to make progress. However, remember it is pertinent to eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water, and listen to your body. If you find it hard to stick with a workout, then call on a friend or family member that will join you until you get motivated enough on your own. If you stick to your cardio workout, then you will certainly be pleased with the boost in energy, the loss of cellulite, and the mental clarity you have gained. Just remember to have fun, and expect your body to change shape several times if you are losing weight.
