Working Together
To Get Coronavirus Treatments Out
The media hype surrounding the coronavirus is astounding, not to mention awfully demoralizing to watch. They do it for the ratings, the readers, as well as the information that could be put out. Yes, there could be a coronavirus vaccine soon but that is mostly reliant on other countries working together. If nothing else, it seems that a hot climate helps stomp the virus out. If more countries got together to share resources, and not blame China for every last little thing, then something good may come out of this coronavirus mess since working together is one way to come up with a vaccine faster.
At the Sunnybrook Research Institute, while working with the University of Toronto, and McMaster University, a team was able to isolate and duplicate the virus in a lab. This is a monumental step forward, as scientists are better able to engage in diagnostic testing, treatments, and vaccines, while also gaining an improved understanding of the biology of the virus, or the way it works inside the body. The official name for the virus is SARS-CoV-2 or the agent responsible for COVID-19. This is a virus with little known treatments since pneumonia is something that may or may not set in.
What I'm suggesting is simply put, that the planet put aside their differences with each other, so that they can pull together to come up with a solution to this virus outbreak. The World Health Organization cites the Covid-19 symptoms as a runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever, and difficulty breathing in some cases. The thing is that the virus is not something anybody has seen before, in which case, China did sequence the virus, giving other countries that information. So come on everybody, get together, do some serious research.
Come up with a solution. We earth humans suck at working together, closing schools, staying home, not getting groceries in a way that means you are stockpiling, trying to make sure that we do not get hit hard with food shortages. The lessons we have learned from Covid-19 are had earned. On the upside, we have ways of detecting infected people from the non-infected herd. If a vaccine is created, there are some who will not get it. We will not deal with food shortages in the United States give or take that we don't have those although it would be interesting if we did. There is no toilet paper shortage either, that's just someone 's imagination.
Never mind that the virus did get out from the Wuhan virology lab. We have an unprecedented opportunity to work together as a planet! We are trying here. Much of this virus outbreak is beyond our control aside from washing our hands using hand sanitizer, and an effort could be made to stay calm. In China, the authorities are not necessarily transparent. This comment does not spare the United States from taking a good look at themselves. But anyway, like I said, get together and work on the problem world governments.
Yes this virus is killing the elderly and those with weak immune systems. So long as you stay away from sick people, then the situation becomes less deadly. Natural remedies like elderberry could destroy the virus in its tracks. I'm relying on the BBC news to get my news from, as well as Al-jazeera. And yes, it would seem that our own leaders got exposed to the virus. President Donald Trump has been exposed to the virus, but says he is not concerned about getting tested. I'm bothering to listen to my doctors, not get too jumpy, and trying not to flip out. Our leader is not modeling behavior for us that help us. The fact is, this virus is spreading. So it makes sense that if Iraq's leaders have it, then the United States will not be spared. To the average person, spare yourself the stress, stay home if ill.
