Pre-order the set (oracle deck, guidebook, & box) below retail value

Please help bring this creation into full bloom and in turn, help yourself with spiritual guidance and connection to nature through the wildflowers. Pledging through the campaign above is also a way to pre-order below retail value. In case you haven't read my previous publication about this project, I'll tell you a bit about it. Full details are in the Kickstarter link above.

In this 77-card oracle deck, I share inspirational messages from 60 different wildflower species, including some flowering shrubs, all native to Southern Interior British Columbia, Canada. There are a few select exceptions. A couple are not true B.C. natives, but well established, non-invasive species, and one is not a flower at all, but I was inspired to include. The card dimensions are 3 x 4.5" and the cardstock weight is 300 gsm for ease of shuffling. The cardstock is 100% recycled material for love of Mother Earth. I am raising funds to print the first 500 decks, guidebooks, and boxes. The print run cost is approximately $5,400 and the remainder will go to campaign fees, rewards, and shipping costs to fulfill rewards for your pledges. If the goal of $8,800 is exceeded, the remainder will go to marketing, setting up e-commerce, and a website for Macro Love Photography. If a stretch goal of $14,000 is reached, I will have 1000 decks printed! The cards are complete and I'm happy with the samples. It was a challenge to find an eco-friendly printer, but so important to the overall integrity of the business and the messages I want to spread.

The next step is to design the box and add finishing touches to the guidebook. The draft is done and needs to be edited. Also, I am confirming and adding more information on traditional uses of the plants by indigenous people of North America and particularly, the Secwepemc people, who's unceded territory I reside on.

Here is a sneak peek into the guidebook:

Plants are sacred healers. Each has their own energetic body or spirit, like us and all other life. They each have different medicinal properties depending on their unique energy and chemistry. They heal and inspire growth on all levels, being emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. All aspects need to be addressed for complete healing to occur. Flowers are profound and potent expressions of the divine, like small portals between worlds of ethereal bliss and our earthly, physical existence. They are like little bursts of magic from another dimension. Their presence, fragrance, and beauty evoke positive emotions and contains healing energy for transformation and reaching potential. Everyone has intuition and the ability to listen to, feel, or even see, the non-physical, especially through something physical like a flower. This oracle deck is intended to strengthen this connection and empower you to heal and love yourself. To help you feel deep loving connection and compassion with yourself, others, all life, and the healing magic of nature.

Through my intuition and research, I gathered basic information on the medicinal properties, traditional uses, folklore, ecology, botany, energy centers affected within us, and inspirational, healing messages from these beautiful plant spirits. My intention is to spark inner healing in others and inspire passion and respect for nature. This project contributes to environmental and conservation efforts for positive change. Heal yourself to heal the planet. 10% of profits are donated to select environmental and humanitarian organizations.

Please be aware that plants grown outside of their native habitats can become invasive and harm or even eliminate native species, disrupting the ecosystem and all life in it. Native plants have evolved together over time and established balance with other species and wildlife in their ecosystem. Please grow plants and flowers native to where you live!

To use these cards:

1) Ask a question or set an intention

2) Shuffle the deck

3) Pull 1 or more cards for guidance

There is no right or wrong way to do this and the law of attraction will always attract the right cards to you. Traditionally, there are specific types of card spreads you can use. You can easily find instructions online for more guidance. Some ideas are, you can pull one card per day, week, month, etc. as a theme or inspiration for that time frame, or a basic spread you can use is three cards to represent past, present, and future. You can use these cards alone or to supplement readings from other decks. Use your intuition to guide you and your interpretations. You are unique, so the wildflowers and your spiritual team will have unique messages for you.

Disclaimer:

The information provided is not intended as medical advice. Always ask a health care professional before using any plant medicinally. For example, there could be dangerous interactions with some medications. Correct identification of plants is also important because some are poisonous, and difficult to differentiate from other species.

1) Orange Honeysuckle/ Lonicera ciliosa

Inspiration:

When you are inspired and create freely you are not creating alone. You are co-creating with the creator. Creativity is a form of meditation and a channel to the divine. It can take limitless forms and you are only limited by your mind. If you are inspired to be creative, embrace it as the superpower that it is and get into the zone.

Ecology/ Botany:

This perennial vine grows in a wide range of habitats from dry to moderately moist forest. It can grow up to 6 meters high. The nectar attracts hummingbirds and bees. The berries are toxic and translucent red.

Medicinal/ Other Uses:

An infusion of the leaves has been used as a contraceptive and for uterine problems. Indigenous North Americans used the vines as building material for weaving, binding, lashing, and reinforcing bridges across rivers and canyons.

Energy Centers:

Sacral (2) & Solar Plexus (3)

2) Twinflower/ Linnaea borealis

Inspiration:

Sensitivity is both a gift and a burden. It usually comes with being empathic and highly intuitive. A quick grounding and meditation exercise is to focus on your senses. Notice two or more sensations with each of your five senses you can use. What do you see, feel, hear, smell, and taste? Zone in on one a time, slowly with intentional focus. Try it now. It will bring you into the present moment and create a sense of calm. Use it whenever you feel anxious or overwhelmed.

Ecology/ Botany:

This semi-woody perennial is a moisture and shade loving, creeping, ground cover.

Medicinal/ Other Uses:

Indigenous North Americans used the whole plant as a tonic for pregnancy and painful menstruation, a decoction of the twigs for cramps or fever in children, and the leaves for colds or as a poultice for headaches and inflamed limbs. In Norway, it is regarded as a treatment for Shingles. In Sweden, Finland, and Russia, it is known as a treatment for Rheumatism. As a flower essence, it can help with sensory overload or feelings of confusion and overwhelm. Those who are sensitive to their environment and sensory stimuli can benefit from the grounding, soothing nature of these sweet smelling, small flowers.

Energy Centers:

Root (1), Heart (4) & Third Eye (7)

Thank you for taking a peek into my passion project. I hope it will be a tool for you and anyone who uses it, to help tap into your natural magic. Please share with anyone and everyone who may be interested in oracle cards, plant spirit magic, environmentalism, herbalism, flower essences, native gardening or landscaping, or simply nature and flowers. The more eyes that see it, the more likely the campaign goal will be met, and then it can be published and blossom into physical form!

With gratitude, Love, and wildflower magic,

Shane
