Water—Is Liquid Gold?

Be mindful of every drop of nature's life source.

The best way that I can put is that every time that we turn on the tap, or drink that bottle of water, wash off our fruit, with clean water this is a luxury that too many of us are taking for granted. "Ten percent of American homes squander 90 gallons of water on a daily basis." It makes me wonder what am I doing or unaware of when I turn on my tap or run my clothes through the washer. So, if you are anything like me I wonder how can I get more aware of our natural life source? And how can I do my part in preserving it for the good of our human race?

Water is involved in every bodily function from digestion to the regulation of body temperature, to the excretion of waste. The human body can only survive for 8 to 21 days without water! And then you can imagine that the quality of this water varies depending on region and location. I often hear stories of people getting sick from drinking water in other countries. It is probably because in the states we are used to drinking and bathing in purified water that is enriched with minerals for taste, and going through all of our purification processes.

Water clears our skin, aids in weight loss, allows our wrinkles to diminish, removes toxins from our bodies, and whether cooled or warmed can toughen athletes getting used to extremely drastic temperatures, or soothe us when we take that bubbly bath to relax.

If we think about it, if all the worlds water vanished today, the entire population could be eliminated within a matter of weeks. And we would probably be very smelly from not washing in fresh water too! Water produces life in every mammal and creature on earth. No wonder why some indigenous tribes would do rain dances and chants. Native American would chant loudly during drought seasons spinning counterclockwise to dance in rain to their crops. With sugary drinks being so addictive today, it is so important to make the simple swap to water. Trust me, it's a hard process but, your body will thank you. Water is the ultimate healer, no wonder why the Sea often gets compared to Women. The beautiful Greek Goddess Amphitrite proves the magic of earth's wonderful life source.

When you bless your body with agua, eua, maji, or H2O you can be reassured that you are doing a service to yourself. It cannot be taken for granted the access that we have, and it makes me want to buy and save as much fresh water possible. I think about how poisonous water can lead to Cholera overseas. I think about Flint, Michigan whose water was (possibly still is) tainted with toxins and left neurological issues to its inhabitants.

All we can do is continue to donate towards freshwater funds while we still have an "abundance" of it. A suggestion is the One Drop organization!

Our oceans that carried my ancestors overseas, the blend of salts, blood, cells, and the depth not yet understood. Water is magical. And if we ingest more of it should oil our rusty bones. Water, which seems only worth dollars now, I predict will be worth millions when it is not so accessible. Wait and see, and don't forget that water is at your faucet, your grocery store, your lake, you are already rich in Earth's greatest lubricant.

Much love to all of my readers! <3
