I've come up with a new idea for Vocal. I decided to try my hand at writing a series of posts titled Fitness Revolution. I couldn't help but notice a sizable number of people who've let themselves go during the COVID-19 pandemic. And this is a basic outline for what I intend for my readers. To give them a reason to drop the donuts and lift dumbbells instead. The idea is to motivate people to be healthier and stronger when the pandemic ends. Not to mention an overall lack of self discipline from the general public. A countless number of people have grown too comfortable on the couch or PC. Just because a lot of people tend to stay home to remain healthy. Doesn't mean they should ignore their overall health and fitness needs. Any readers for Fitness Revolution are in for a rude wakeup call. Because the content of the posts are gonna be blunt and straight to the point. And is meant mainly for anyone who's serious on making on some changes to their lifestyles. From losing weight to building some serious muscle. Getting in shape for a weekend at the beach is merely the tip of the iceberg.

A healthy body equals a healthy mind. And that depends on how often we exercise and what kind of foods we eat. Various studies in medical science indicate that a fit and active lifestyle often reduces overall stress. By engaging in regular exercise daily. We allow a healthy blood flow though out our bodies, from head to toe. Which also includes good circulation to the brain. Improving memory and cognitive function. Or better known as a person's learning ability. How quickly and effectively we process and retain new information depends on our overall health. From learning a new language to developing and honing a new set of skills. But further details will be in other Fitness Revolution posts.

Some of the happiest people in the world are lean and fit. Regardless of overall income and job title. From part-timers to Hollywood Stars. It's easy to confuse financial status with self worth. We all assume that a person's worth depends mainly on how much money they have in their bank account. Newsflash... Money and self worth aren't really the same thing. Sure some successful individuals like actors and business owners have enough cash to set up a home gym. But having a room fully of fancy equipment isn't a requirement to having abs of steel. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be successful in career terms. It's a common mistake to assume that success is limited to the job market. When working a high stress job, it's easy to feel like a complete failure. Especially if you do the same tasks over and over again. And you feel like your never gonna get anywhere. Even if your regular paycheck is enough to cover basic expenses. You're never satisfied with how you currently earn it. Another part of Fitness Revolution is to rethink the definition of success. Something a little more realistic than needlessly stressing over increasing one's income in a hurry. Giving yourself other things to do outside of your regular job can help. From spending time in the gym after work. Spending time with family and friends. Or engage in a creative hobby. Whatever you do, set yourself up for success. Why? Because people who set themselves up for success will succeed. And those who set themselves up for failure will fail.

We all have a reason to be in the best shape of our lives. But who says we have to be limited to just one reason to reach the peak of fitness? The point of Fitness Revolution is to inspire and motivate people to engage in a fit and active lifestyle. It'll cover plenty of subjects for readers to cover. And a lot of them will involve health, fitness, personal growth, etc... But an important fact to remember is that anything that's worth while doesn't come easily. There's going to be a lot of hard work involved for anyone who's serious on becoming the best version of themselves. From improving how you see yourself in the mirror every morning. To improving the overall quality of your life. Maybe you'll find the posts so helpful that you may want to send a tip. In the meantime, be prepare to shed plenty of blood, sweat, and tears...
