Vitamin that increases your life expectancy

In the study published in the journal BioMed Research International, researchers observed various metabolic reactions and antioxidants by comparing their presence in the body with the life expectancy of participants.

Thus, no link has been found between vitamins E and C, but in high concentrations of vitamin A. Therefore, a diet rich in foods containing vitamin A can replace supplements. The foods richest in vitamin A are:

1. Pork and beef liver

The liver contains large amounts of vitamin A and vitamin B12. The high content of vitamin A is an antioxidant with an important role in development, strengthening the immune system, improving vision and fertility. The liver is also an ideal food in preventing and combating anemia and fatigue, due to the B-complex vitamins it contains.

2. Egg yolk

There is evidence that egg yolk is an excellent source of carotenoids - lutein and zeaxanthin - which are involved in preventing vision problems such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration, a major cause of blindness in the elderly. Egg yolk is also rich in folic acid, which plays an important role in the normal development of the brain and the maintenance of memory.

3. Green vegetables: spinach, broccoli, lettuce

These vegetables are high in vitamin A and calcium, as well as iron. Green vegetables are also excellent sources of antioxidants, which help fight cancer. To better assimilate calcium, it is recommended to sprinkle these vegetables with lemon juice.
