The Powerful Health Benefits of Juicing

There are many health benefits associated with juicing. The most obvious health benefit is that facilitates the consumption of fruits and vegetables. If you don't like eating fruits or vegetables, juicing them will make it much easier. Instead of eating a whole bowl of kale, juice it and receive all the benefits without having to spend time eating all that kale.

There is a downside to juicing though, you don't get all the fiber you would get if you were to eat the fruits and vegetables or blend them. That being said, the benefits associated with juicing are sufficient to convince you to incorporate juicing into your daily routine.

Here are some of the benefits of juicing:

Here five health benefits of juicing:

Increased Vitamins and Minerals in Your Diet

When you juice, you increase the uptake of vitamins and minerals in your diet. Why? Because when you drink fresh squeezed juice, the nutrients are absorbed directly into your bloodstream. It's like taking a liquid vitamin or mineral supplement.

Potential Weight Loss

If you replace store-bought juice with fresh, homemade juice, you will reduce your overall calorie intake. You will also reduce added sugar intake which will certainly be good for weight loss. If you decide replace one meal a day with juice, you will certainly lose some weight over time.

Boosts Energy

Digestion utilises energy, if your body has to spend time digesting foods, you lose that energy to digestion. However, when you drink juice, it reduces the amount of work that your body has to do. Therefore, you can use that spare energy for exercising or for your day- to- day activities.

Reduce Inflammation

There are many fresh juice recipes that are great for inflammation. For example, when you add turmeric to ginger and pineapple, you make a powerful anti-inflammatory juice. If you suffer from swollen joints or other forms of inflammation in the body, drinking juice can help to reduce it.

Protect against disease

Consuming more fresh-squeezed juice might help your body fight against disease. For example, dark leafy green vegetables contain powerful antixoidants that might reduce cancer risk or heart disease.

Disclaimer: This is not medical advice, if you are sick, consult a medical professional before embarking on a juice diet to prevent or cure sickness.
