One of the hardest lessons one will learn upon their spiritual journey, is learning to let go. The reason why so many people have a hard time with this concept is because we have been conditioned to being ok where we are comfortable. Only because we know this is not exactly what we want but it works, and your content with your life. Whatever we love, to the point where it can be considered unconditional love, we must learn to embrace what we have right in front of us instead of what can happen or what has happened to that object. When I say object, it can be anything that holds space in one’s heart. We must understand that it was a gift to embrace for the moment and just wait for the next blessing that is coming to you. Personally, it was my ex-wife and kids, I gave them love instead of myself, which lead me to control them into staying with me, the ex-wife, and when I said ok she took the kids and left.
