What is Common Sense?

Common sense is sound judgment in any situation. It’s important to have common sense during this Covid-19 outbreak.

How to Practice Common Sense ?

Stay at home when you can.

There is no reason for you to be going to beaches and hanging out with your friends at a time like this. It only takes 2 people in contact for Covid-19 to spread. But it only takes 1 person to help stop it from spreading and that person is you. Covid-19 arrived to different countries through people, so why dose it make sense to travel right now. Just stay at home and travel the world through YouTube.

Practice Good Hygiene!

Common sense is not doing the Covid-19 Challenge. Why would you want to get sick on purpose? For fun? If you wouldn’t normally lick a toilet or a chair on an airplane why do it now? This is not common sense. Common sense is staying away from germs and not risking your life for clout. By doing the Covid-19 Challenge you are not being fearless but stupid.

Don’t cough or fake cough on food or others. Spreading germs on purpose is not funny. The clout is not worth going to jail . Don’t cough on food in the grocery store. You shouldn’t even be coughing without covering your mouth.

Wash your hands with soap and water.

A clean hand can go a long way. Most germs can transfer from different surfaces to our hands and vise versa . This means you can bring germs home with you , so watch your hands before touching stuff.

Here is a Poem About Good Hygiene!

School is About to Start

Parents it’s not only the school job to make sure you child is protected from covid-19 . Before school starts back try and practice good hygiene at home that they should use in schools to protect them. Please send your kids to school with hand sanitizers . Also if your child have a cold, sinus infection, a small cough, please keep them at home . Not because it could be covid -19 , but because a weak immune system is acceptable to allow COVID-19 to enter the body easily. Remember you are the parent and it’s your choice rather or not you want your kid to go back to school or not.

College Students

This is not the year to be partying with no mask on. Think about your professors, classmates, and roommates before you go to a party full of people not wearing a mask . If you know you are at high risk of catching the coronavirus please see if you can do your classes remotely. Even if the schools don’t say it , know that you are going at your own risk. Remember your health is more important than your education.

Mental Health is so important while going to school during covid. Most colleges are going hybrid or fully remotely. Online classes can be very overwhelming. And with everything else going on with covid, you will feel a little overwhelmed and stress out.

Tips for a Stronger Mental Health:

Have and use a planner: write down every assignment that is due and study times.

• Don’t Procrastinate: Procrastination leads to stress. If you can finish an assignment early, finish it early. Getting your work done is a rewarding feeling.

•FaceTime your friends: We struggle with our own thoughts when we feel alone and have no one to talk to . Who’s better to talk to than your friends who are experiencing the same stressors you are having.

• Take breaks between your studying: Don’t study from sun up to sun down, and skip meals. Not eating can cause hormones problems that are not good for your mental health. Do something fun during your break and relax.

• Get out of your bed: Don’t study or do homework on your bed. Go to a desk or a table, it will help you feel less tired and wake up your brain.

•Get Enough Sleep: Don’t be staying up all night on Instagram and other social media. Don’t sleep too much either. You don’t want to sleep your life away. Sleeping too much and staying in the bed all day can lead to depression. 6-9 hrs of sleep is all you need.
