Pointers for the witches not sure where to begin.
Pointers from a gay chaos practitioner
Always cast a circle before any spell or ritual to cleanse the space
Hail to the guardians of the north south east and west i welcome you in to this circle...
I have been a practicing solitary chaos witch for about 20 years now and as i see a steady increase of pagans practitioners I feel i should at least put the basics out there for you all and hopefully i can help someone along the way.
Where to start with your craft.
Speaking from personal experience i feel that no matter your path understanding herbs, crystals, and candle colors and what there used for is very important along with understanding your moon phases and proper times to do certain spells or rites.
when i was starting off i had to search for books forgotten in the backs of libraries and bookstores for information on witchcraft and the occult but now its all at your fingertips.
that might be the most important advice i will give you. You can never research to much, and its always a good idea to cross reference the information you find.
Its kinda like going to another doctor for a second opinion except in this case its to further your practice.
what you see above is a simple alter to work and do your craft at if your serious about witchcraft may i suggest you acquire these tools
1.white candles
2.a Atheme (a blade sharp on both ends)
3. A fireproof container
4.blank notebooks to write in
5. an assortment of candles and cord or string of all different colors
Before you start trying to curse or hex anyone here this
"this is the difference between a beginner an intermediate and a master practitioner"
the beginner witch when faced with a antagonist will curate and plan a banishing spell down to the phase of the moon.
The intermediate faced with the same person will throw a haphazard banishment together and chant saying " go away asshole"
but the master practitioner will meet that same person and think to themselves "it's probably quicker to tell them to buzz off".
We all know that up until recently witches and pagans alike were persecuted for their beliefs. but nowadays we are allowed to freely practice are craft.
but on that note i feel we should all remember this phrase
"They condemn what they do not understand" remember fear is a strong emotion and has made people do horrible things throughout history.
Ill leave you with this something i wrote a while back .
a poem of sorts called "The prayer of a pissed off witch"
like fire i burn like earth i do not bend like water everchanging and air unseen by men take heed of my rhyme this spell i have spun for when this is over its best if you run.
Mistaking kindness for weakness
this assumption
don't make
for regret is what will be in the wake
for i have heart warm welcoming and gold
but my hands remain bloody ,dirty and cold
dealing with pain most of you have not lived
be warned of what i can give
your fake, weak, meek and dependent
acting like you always need a defendant
not on trial or being convicted
but from my path you will be evicted
these words I warned you did not take heed
its over and done no place to run
