Pain, is the body in the "help"!
Pain in 3 places on the body, can no longer delay, timely examination

Old Yang is 55 years old and has worked as a cement worker for most of his life. He could easily wait for his son to start a family and enjoy his retirement, but life played a big joke on him.
Since the beginning of the year, the old Yang often felt a vague pain in his right shoulder, because of his career, the previous will also appear such a problem, massage rest for a few days will be relieved, the old Yang also did not care much.
On the night of June 18, he went to bed for a short time and felt pain in his shoulder, so he couldn't sleep. The old Yang endured the pain until dawn and went to the hospital early in the morning for a checkup.
After carefully understanding his medical history, the doctor improved his examination, and the result was unexpected, as he was diagnosed with mid-to-late-stage lung cancer, which required immediate hospitalization.
Old Yang was very confused: "Doctor, I just have shoulder pain, what does it have to do with the lungs? I don't cough, could it be a mistake? It's scary!"
Why does lung cancer cause recurrent shoulder pain?
Lung cancer is cancer in which the tumor grows in the lung, and the lung and shoulder are far apart, so some lung cancer patients will be very puzzled when they have shoulder pain.
The early stage lung cancer usually does not cause obvious discomfort to patients. As the disease develops, typical symptoms such as cough, chest tightness, wasting, pale face, shortness of breath, coughing blood, chest pain, and fever may appear. In clinical treatment, special manifestations such as chest pain, coughing blood, and chest tightness are also the most common first symptoms of lung cancer, but lung cancer may sometimes have atypical symptoms, such as shoulder pain.
Very few patients with lung cancer will not show typical symptoms such as cough, chest pain, or coughing blood, but shoulder pain, which probably has two reasons. One is that the patient's tumor grows in the apical part of the lung, and as it grows, it will compress the surrounding tissues such as the lung apices, pleura, and nerves, forming a symptom similar to shoulder disease, and this kind of shoulder and back muscle pain is usually a continuous pain.
Secondly, the patient's condition worsens and the lung tumor cells metastasize to the bone through blood circulation and bone metastasis occurs, which is medically called extra-pulmonary bone metastasis or bone-related events. Because bone metastasis causes osteolytic bone cortical breakdown, patients will feel persistent and intense pain.
Shoulder pain caused by a tumor is often intense and continuous, with neither a clear location nor does it affect shoulder joint activities; while shoulder pain caused by a frozen shoulder is high at night, with the pain point fixed somewhere in the shoulder, and the patient's shoulder joint activities are limited. You can make a preliminary judgment from this, and seek medical help to investigate the cause in time if abnormalities occur.
2. Pain in 3 places on the body is a sign of cancer or a serious disease
Pain is a kind of "distress signal" to the body. When the human tissue is diseased, it may not look abnormal on the outside, but the internal body will be affected and send out pain signals, and when some special parts produce pain symptoms, be extra vigilant, or related to serious diseases or cancer.
1、Sudden and severe headache
The sudden onset of severe headache is likely to be an intracranial aneurysm, which is a disease caused by abnormal expansion of blood vessel wall after damage caused by congenital factors and acquired factors such as arterial infection, trauma, sclerosis, and impact, resulting in bulging of the intracranial arterial wall.
Ninety percent of congenital patients with intracranial aneurysms have no obvious symptoms in the early stage. Before the rupture of the aneurysm, there will be symptoms such as eye muscle paralysis and diplopia, dizziness and neck pain, and paroxysmal headache, and after the rupture, there will be sudden onset of explosive headache, which will cause consciousness disorder and seizure in severe cases.
Clinical data shows that the mortality rate of aneurysm patients with first bleeding is as high as 35%, and the mortality rate of the second recurrence of bleeding after bleeding soars to 60-80%, so once symptoms are detected, it is important to seek medical examination in time.

2. Chest pain
Medical research has found that there are more than 30 diseases that can cause chest pain, and the most common clinical causes are about 10 types of pulmonary embolism, coronary heart disease, pneumothorax, aortic coarctation, esophagitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, intercostal neuralgia, costochondritis, pericarditis and so on.
Among them, chest pain caused by coronary artery disease is one of the most serious and common types of chest pain. 1 out of 10 cases of the initial attack of coronary artery disease is sudden death, 4 myocardial infarction, and 5 angina pectoris. During an attack of this disease, patients experience crushing, constricting chest pain in the retrosternal and precordial regions, which can radiate and extend to the shoulder and arm area.
Then there is aortic coarctation, which refers to the tearing of the inner lining of the thickest artery in the body, thus leading to a tearing, knife-cutting sensation of chest pain, and most critically, once the blood flow breaks through the vessel wall, shock followed by death is also something that happens in minutes.
It can be said that any disease that triggers chest pain is mostly related to a major disease. Young adults with chest pain mostly consider pleurisy, myocarditis, etc., and non-acute attacks can first be seen in respiratory or cardiology departments. Middle-aged and elderly people with chest pain should focus on coronary heart disease, be alert to angina pectoris and myocardial infarction, and go to cardiology or emergency medicine in time.
3、Abdominal pain
Medical surveys have found that 25% of acute abdominal pain may be related to serious illnesses, which may be life-threatening if not treated in time, so attention should be paid. Countless diseases can cause abdominal pain, such as acute pancreatitis, biliary ascariasis, acute purulent obstructive cholangitis, cholecystitis, duodenal perforation, gastric perforation, intestinal obstruction, intestinal necrosis, intestinal hernia, appendicitis, ovarian rupture, kidney stone, etc., and the most serious aortic coarctation or malignant tumor, etc.
In addition, pain in different locations of the abdomen also indicates the possibility of different diseases. In particular, pay attention to tearing pain in the middle abdomen. If there is sudden tearing pain in the upper or middle abdomen, and there is a sense of spreading upward or downward, unbearable, be alert to the abdominal aortic coarctation; middle-aged and elderly people who have sudden severe abdominal pain, accompanied by low blood pressure, be alert to abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture, which is a critical disease, if not timely treatment, the consequences can be serious and deadly.
Third, chronic pain is also a disease, relying solely on "tolerate" is useless!
A medical survey found that 57% of China's urban residents have a history of varying degrees of pain. Headache, neck pain, joint pain, back and leg pain ...... face these pain symptoms, many people will "endure it and pass", "small illnesses and pains do not need to be treated", and "take some medicine and tomorrow will be fine". "This may miss the time of disease detection and greatly increase the difficulty of treatment, and may even become a trigger for some serious diseases.
Zhang Shaojie of the Pain Department of the Guangzhou General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army Branch 157 reminds: us don't take chronic pain as a disease! As long as the pain symptoms that affect life and endanger health should be diagnosed and treated, if the pain is unexplained, you can go to the pain department of the hospital for consultation.
Take cancer pain as an example, cancer itself has a high probability of causing patients' physical quality to decline and malnutrition, while pain can make patients lose their appetite and increase the risk of malnutrition. Long-term pain is also a hidden blow to the mind. Cancer patients have a much higher risk of developing emotional disorders and psychological diseases than ordinary people, and many of them even have light-hearted thoughts due to cancer pain.
In addition, pain can also make it difficult for patients to sleep. Poor sleep and poor mental health will undermine patients' motivation to fight cancer, which will easily lead to a vicious circle and affect the treatment effect. According to foreign studies, cancer pain can increase the risk of death of tumor patients by several times to more than ten times, which shows its harm.
Therefore, if cancer pain occurs, the sooner the patient is treated, the better, and even in the early stage of tumor treatment, the pain should be relieved first.

Conclusion: Pain is one of the most sensitive senses of human beings. In life, people can easily notice the occurrence of body pain, but once the pain stops, they will easily ignore it instead of finding out the cause, which is often called "forgetting the pain after getting well", which will undoubtedly increase the risk of delaying the disease and is a bad habit. I hope we can all raise awareness of self-examination, if the body appears pain symptoms, must identify the cause of the disease, there is a disease to cure the disease, no disease to strengthen the body, to do a good job of health protection.
