Mirror Dragon Tarot Week#7 2020

The Center card this week is the Knight of Wands.

As with all the Knights, this one exemplifies the success and confidence of one who has accomplished the highest ideal of the suit. The Wands symbolize the element of fire and the curiosity, the will and sparks that inspire us to follow our own ideas and Knowing. This week we find ourselves feeling confident and dynamic. Fears that may have interfered with our intentions fade in the bright flame of our confidence and work that we’ve begun finds clarity and definition. This may not mean that everyone will be overjoyed with our directions and/or choices but we feel strong enough in our own knowledge and capability to stay the course.This week it will likely be quite difficult to knock us off whatever self initiated trajectory we’re on. Take this opportunity to run with your plans and choices, we have the self assurance now to succeed.

The West card is the Star.

The Star is the card of dreams and visions. All our dreams are anchored in the stars. When, in sleep or meditation, we’re able to bypass our daily physical concerns to see how directly connected we are to the Universe, we have the chance to look beyond issues and obstacles that stand directly before us, right in front of our faces blocking our vision and our progress. As Neil DeGrasse Tyson tells us, ”we are not figuratively but literally made of stardust.” Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus, are the chemical origins which exploded out from collapsing stars billions of years ago. These are the fundamental ingredients of life itself. They are the fundamental ingredients of us. So, in reaching out beyond the known, the completed and used up, we find the brilliance of new life and growth. Look to your desires and dreams for direction this week.

The East card is the High Priestess.

What a perfect energy to have this week to bind our astral connection, the Universal Wisdom inside us, to the physical plane. If the Hierophant (High Priest) represents the structure and rules we use to employ our knowledge of the Universal Connection we share, the Priestess shows us the fact that we’ve always known it was there. In her we recognize that we carry with us an intimate Universal knowledge of Oneness within the intricately woven matrix we’re part of. The Priestess also recognizes the fact that we’re in physical form and in the separation of person to person interaction there are times we need to be tuned in to the Universal One and times when we need to acknowledge our individuality. Having this card in the placement it’s fallen this week shows that our instincts for cooperation and integration are strong and the understanding of our need to define who we are in the larger scheme of things is clear. In acknowledging our fiery inspirations and seeing the broader influence they’re capable of we may (probably will) feel a shove of determination to make a stand, take a risk, complete a cycle etc. Whatever we choose, the outcome is likely to help us align more closely to what we choose to have in our lives.

In conclusion;

The fire of determination and experience inherent in the Knight of Wands allows us to feel confident in the job we’re doing, not to mention the ideas we’ve got brewing in the background. Whether at work, in relationship, with our health or inner growth this week is one of self assurance. Energy is high and interactions are powerful. Keep in mind that often, when we find ourselves in a position of power, those around us who aren’t used to seeing us this way can feel confused, jealous, proud or even relieved and protected. Confrontations can (maybe should) pop up. The overwhelming sense of Oneness this week with the Star and the Priestess helps to soften the edges of that power and so vindictiveness and anger are either lessened or we don’t experience the painful barbs that can accompany them. That makes this a good week for honest discussion, agreement and cooperation.
