Austrian psychiatrist Viktor Frankl famously said, "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." Just think about it. Every day you have the opportunity to wake up and start your life over. You can move on from the past and look to the future. You can be a different person than the person you were the day before. The start of a new day is packed with a lot of power to effect change. However, that's a lot to think about when you first wake up in the morning, which is why you've got to get in the routine to start each day right. If you wake up grumpy, or in a rush to get out the door, here are some tips to help make every day a better day from the start.

Start Energy-Driven

When you wake up, your body can feel like a train trying to get the momentum to leave the station. If this is you, you may need a little extra something to get things going. Some people try all-natural supplements to give them an extra boost. Check out le-vel thrive reviews and consider giving yourself a little help. Although most people wish they could, it's not likely anyone is able to wake up ready to go.

Make Your Mornings Longer

Maybe your train does need extra time getting the wheels turning. Take time to enjoy your mornings. Let your mornings set the tone for the rest of your day. If you're supposed to be at work by 8 am, but you're waking at 7 am, you're not being fair to your mind or your body.

The Right Mindset

Getting in the right mindset to keep a positive energy going is easier said than done. Nobody wants to be negative, but somehow it just seems to happen. If you find you are often in a slump or an emotional funk, try incorporating meditation or prayer into your daily routine, preferably as early as possible. You'll want to have that positive aura enveloping you before you head out the door.

A Healthy Breakfast

Can you believe only one-third of American adults eat a daily breakfast? Yet, we are told over and over that it is the most important meal of the day. If you don't have time to fix breakfast in the morning, prepare it the night before. You can fix some eggs and vegetables, and have some tortillas on hand, so when you are ready to go in the morning you can microwave a nice warm breakfast burrito.

Get Your Blood Flowing

Your mornings have gotten a lot busier, because not only do you need to make time to meditate or pray and eat a healthy breakfast, but you need to get your heart pumping. Exercise in the morning has shown to provide better sleep at night. If you get better sleep at night, what happens? You wake up feeling more restful.

Another reason to exercise in the morning is because exercise causes your body stress. Your body reacts to this stress by releasing adrenaline. That adrenaline is what's going to help keep you pumped through the first half of your day, until you can get back home and start taking it easy.

Have a Plan

Don't just go through each day like it's another day. What do you want to do with each day? Each day is a gift, and an opportunity to better yourself, the lives of other people, and the world. You don't have to solve world hunger, but realize the little things add up. Maybe one day you just want to plant flowers in the front garden. Does that make the world better? Absolutely. It brings beauty and joy. Setting attainable goals make you feel good when they're accomplished.

If you think your life could be better, that you could do better, it's not that difficult to change. The main thing is you have to want it. Take small steps and let yourself evolve.
