The standards of beauty, imposed by fashion, dictate their requirements. Fashion, excessive slimness, and even thinness have been tormenting many girls for several decades. To follow them, many girls use various methods of losing weight.

Today, various diet pills and exhausting diets are being replaced by fundamentally new methods, that are closely related to the oral cavity. We will talk about the new fashion, methods, and ways to lose weight with the help of daily and usual hygienic procedure—brushing your teeth.

In our body, everything is closely interconnected. The oral cavity is the beginning of the gastrointestinal tract. Here begins the process of assimilation of food, with its grinding teeth and processing saliva. It, thanks to a special bacterial substance (lysozyme), neutralizes pathogens of various diseases. That is why any problems with the oral cavity can lead to diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as to fullness.

Physiological Causes of Fullness Due to Bad Teeth

Chewing food thoroughly is one of the foundations of a healthy diet. However, if the teeth hurt, due to the different gum disease symptoms, then chewing becomes a problem. Poor chewing can lead to gastritis or even a stomach ulcer.

When we try not to chew on the painful side, a double load falls on the healthy teeth. From this, they grind faster and soon acquire caries and other dental problems. However, it is still impossible to fully chew food on one side. In the aggregate, these reasons lead to the fact that we choose more softer food, because it is easier to chew.

Those foods that have high nutritional value, and as a rule, need to be chewed carefully. Bad teeth can’t withstand such a serious load, while the feeling of hunger forces us to replace high-value foods with so-called fast carbohydrates.

The fact that sugar is the worst enemy of teeth, we hear this from childhood. But an excess of foods containing carbohydrates can also lead to harmful consequences. Carbohydrates, getting into the oral cavity, under the action of saliva, quickly break down into simple sugars.

Thus, it can be said, that both the poor condition of teeth and fullness are often closely related to each other. Changing the diet (rejection of sweet, flour, rice, potatoes, some vegetables, and fruits) will have a positive effect on the health of teeth and gums. Careful care and timely treatment of the oral cavity will prevent the transition to excessive consumption of not the most healthy products.

Psychological Causes of Fullness Due to Bad Teeth

But everything isn’t so simple. There are subtle psychological moments that are associated with changes in appearance, due to problems with the teeth. The lack of chewing teeth can cause asymmetry of the face, deepening of the nasolabial fold, the appearance of additional wrinkles. The corners of the mouth are often lowered, the lips become sunken and thinner. All this is visually perceived as aging, which the beautician is no longer able to defeat.

Spoiled mood, constant dissatisfaction with their appearance, the feeling that everything is bad. Many in this state are turning to the fridge for solace. Sedation of psychological problems, with the help of delicious food, quickly becomes a habit. The worse the appearance becomes, the stronger is the desire to put stress on the cake or a large portion of pasta with cheese and ketchup.

False Hunger Upon Waking

Another reason for the growing numbers on the scales is the false sense of strong hunger after a night of sleep, which makes us eat as soon as possible. However, in reality, it is thirst, the body simply needs water.

If you drink a glass of warm water immediately after waking up, and then brush your teeth, especially with a paste containing mint, the feeling of hunger will become very dull, or will disappear altogether. The reason is that mint inhibits the action of food receptors, thereby reducing the feeling of hunger, and a glass of water quenches the thirst after sleep.

What to Do to Avoid Problems with Fullness and Bad Teeth

The easiest way is to follow the rules of oral hygiene. They include:

1. Brushing your teeth twice a day.

2. Use dental floss at least once a day.

3. Tongue cleaning.

4. Every six months, professional teeth cleaning.

5. A regular routine checkup at the dentist—preferably every six months.

6. Timely treatment to the dentist at the first sign of dental problems.

7. Timely treatment of common diseases of the body.

8. A diet with a low content of foods that are high in sugar and carbohydrates.

Also, some dentists require of their patients to brush their teeth every time after eating, and this, in turn, leads to the fact that many people stop snacking between meals, which has a beneficial effect on the teeth and body.

Observance of such simple rules will allow your teeth to stay beautiful and healthy for a long time, and your figure to be slim and attractive.
