Is the summer heat getting you down? Do you want to look and feel great? Make this a summer worth remembering! Read these helpful tips to dealing with some of the most common concerns.

1. Wear sunscreen, without breaking out—look your best without being at risk!

  • Switch to an all natural sunscreen—I did and it works great!
  • Avoid sunscreens that have silicones and mineral oils in the ingredients (Always read the label before buying!).
  • Buy a non-oily sunscreen for sensitive skin, like Neutrogena Clear Face Break-Out Free Liquid- Lotion Sunblock (see link below).
  • Wash your face thoroughly before applying and at the end of the day before bed.

2. Look hot in a bikini TODAY—we all come in different shapes and sizes, but this is no reason to not rock a bikini!

  • Be confident, confidence is sexy! Strut your stuff & fake it till you make it!
  • Wear a flattering style to suit your body type: Check out this guide to find out what styles are best suited for you!
  • Wear a sheer beach cover, just enough coverage to feel confident without hiding your sexy swim suit.

3. Cure boob sweat—yes, I said it, because the boob sweat struggle is real. The good news is, I have solutions, ladies!

  • Baby powder helps to absorb sweat & keeps you smelling fresh.
  • Crystal Deodorant (found at most health and wellness stores). It is aluminum free, so it is safe to use anywhere, not just your underarms!
  • Bra Liners, yes they actually exist! (see link below)
  • Give these Anti-Monkey Butt products a try (see link below)

FYI: This company also makes a line of products for men, so check out the MEN'S link on the same website.

4. How to stay cool and dry during the HOT season—don’t let the heat stop you from having fun this summer!

  • Get a portable fan! Mine is my BFF, I bought it at a local dollar store and it works wonders.
  • Stay hydrated, carry a water bottle with you and fill it up when you are on the go.
  • Eat foods that cool down your body temperature and avoid spicy foods.
  • Wear clothing made with breathable materials (ex. linen).

5. Get rid of a bad sunburn—or better yet, don’t get one at all!

  • Apply pure aloe vera gel.
  • Cool down your body temperature by having a cold shower or bath.
  • Apply coconut oil to the burn.
  • Put a dab of apple cider vinegar on the affected area.
  • Freeze aloe vera in an ice cube tray over night for a soothing and cool fix.

6. Get rid of heat rash—because itchy rashes aren’t sexy!

  • Stay cool and wear breathable clothing.
  • Have a cold shower to cool down your body temperature.
  • Apply a thin layer of calamine lotion to the area.
  • Air out your skin by turning on a fan or air conditioner.

7. Avoid getting a hangover—have fun without the dreaded aftermath!

  • Stay hydrated; and no, I don’t mean with more liquor, drink water on the side and it will help prevent a nasty hangover.
  • Know your limit and stick with it.
  • Eat first—because drinking alcohol on an empty stomach is never a good idea!
  • Don’t mix your booze, stick with one type and you are less likely to get sick.
  • Stay out of the heat as much as possible! Too much sun mixed with alcohol… well, you catch my drift, not a pretty picture!

8. Get rid of pesky mosquito bites—I'm getting itchy just thinking about it!

  • Apply calamine lotion followed by peppermint tooth paste.
  • Wear lavender and lemongrass essential oils to avoid getting bitten.
  • Create a paste with baking soda and H20—apply the paste to the bite.
  • Apply apple cider vinegar, my favorite brand is BRAGG Organic Apple Cider Vinegar (see link below).
  • Finely chop up some fresh basil leaves and rub it on your skin.
