Find the Right Detox

Detoxing finds its roots back to Roman, Greek, and Native American cultures. Indians used sweat lodges to sweat out what they felt were harmful chemicals in the body. They also used various herbs, fasting, and water to aid in the process.

Health is important to our society, so deciding to detox can do the following:

  1. Sheds the body of large amounts of excess fat
  2. Clear up the skin
  3. Supercharges the immune system
  4. Flushes harmful poisons from the body

As with anything, if it is not done correctly it can harm the body more than it can help. Done incorrectly it can cause vitamin deficiency, muscle deterioration and blood sugar problems. When done correctly it can give you a stronger immune system and gives your body an energy boost.

There are side effects depending upon how long you stay in the detox process. You can feel hungry or even weak. The most common side effect is a headache. This is because of the withdrawal of caffeine. These will go away after a few days. What you can eat, and drink depends on which detox you use.

People think detoxing is use for weight loss. Instead it is used for removal of harmful toxins and chemicals from the body. This is crucial to keeping your skin, nails, and hair healthy and glowing. While in detox, sugar and other unhealthy foods are kept from entering the body. The first detox should only last two days. If you have detoxed before it still should not last longer than ten days.

The liver, lungs, skin, lymphatic system, and blood work together to rid the body of harmful chemicals. The body changes the chemicals to less harmful toxins that the body then excretes. While detoxing, there are fewer chemicals in your body. It helps you focus on foods that provide antioxidants.

Researchers have found that the chemicals we ingest through food and water become deposited into fat cells. These chemicals include antibiotics and hormones found in food. They also enter our body through the cleaning products you use. Eventually the body builds up too many chemicals and causes illnesses, loss of concentration, bad breath, poor skin, and poor hair.

Once the detox program is complete, you will find your skin has a healthy glow. Your hair looks and feels better and your nails are even stronger. Once you have cleaned all the harmful chemicals out of your body, you can supplement your diet with nutrafol. This supplement will keep your hair staying healthy.

The most important part of detoxing is to find the one that is right for your body. Prior to starting the detox do some research. Talk to your doctor and other health professionals and let them help you pick the right detox. Here are five options.

The Liquid Cleanse

The liquid cleanse is just what it says. You only drink liquids for the amount of days you have decided to detox. There are several liquid cleanses so you will find one that you like.

The Master Cleanse

The master cleanse is comprised of eating raw fruits and vegetables, along with seeds and nuts, plus you drink fruit juices.

The Oxygen Colon Cleanse

The oxygen colon cleanse uses products with Ozonated Magnesium Oxides to clean out the colon. Oxygen is released into the colon to dissolve undigested food particles and the buildup of wastes; the body then emits them naturally through the bowel movement.

The Candida Cleanse

Candida is a fungus in the body that causes yeast infections. It also contributes to bad breath. To help control this fungus a detox can help. There are certain foods that you should eat while on this detox and then there are foods such a sugar that you should stay away from.

Detoxing can be done several times a year, just be sure to talk to your doctor before starting one. After the detox you will not only see how much better you look, but you will also feel better. You will want to make detoxing a regular part of your life.
