"An abundance of gratitude will always be enough to satiate the heart." -Kameron Mclain

Some of you may not realize that there is a life-changing/altering/awakening tool sitting in the palm of your hands at no cost and only takes a minimum of 10-30 seconds a day.

I can assure you that this isn't one of those "New Year New Me" spiels... The new opportunities we are potentially presented with in the new year are for evolving into who you want to be or continue to become... This is NOT a time to try and "resolve" who you became due to mishaps, mistakes, or misfortunes...

.

.

At this point in time the holiday season has come and gone leaving behind a reminence of gratitude that the cheeriest time of years brings about.

That doesn't go to say that not everyone practices gratitude and thankfulness daily, but I would be surprised if people could genuinely look at themselves in the mirror and correct me if I'm wrong... in the past it wasn't something that I personally did daily let alone often enough.

Let me repeat that again; GRATITUDE IS A TOOL... one that is crucial for us to use on a daily basis! Especially seeing as how the return on our investment of emotional, verbal, And mental gratitude is enormous...

Though I feel absolutely compelled to bring this question to mind;

Q: What is the goal or motive behind expressing your gratitude?

A: **If any of your answers have anything to do with; proving yourself or to others that you're a good person, that you are kind, selfless, generous, grateful, thankful... if they have anything to do with recieving or achieving a sense of self-worth, validation, or applause from expressing your gratitude outwardly...then I genuinely ask you to reconsider why you are doing it in the first place...

I highly encourage your heart to be in the most authentic place within yourself when expressing what it is you are grateful for without expectation for acknowledgment.** Wanting to become a more giving, joyous and gracious version of who I am today

.

According to Robert A. Emmons, Ph.D., a leading gratitude researcher who had focused on the correlation between gratitude and well-being. His extensive studies confirmed that gratitude greatly increases one’s sense of joy while reducing depression. The findings showed that those who practiced gratitude even once a week showed increases of happiness, improved mental, physical, and emotional health, and were reported to be more social.

.

.

Gratitude has been proven to significantly introduce benefits or improve upon:

  1. Happiness,
  2. Optimism
  3. Psychological
  4. Physical health
  5. Relationships and connection with others
  6. Self-esteem
  7. Sleep
  8. Longevity
  9. Energy

… I could go on but I’ll let you figure the rest out on your own

.

The items listed below are different forms of gratitude that you can actively introduce into your life in a daily manner, all of which require minimal time; because TIME is the one thing in life that we can never get enough of but can never get more or back once the day is over and done with, but when spending time doing these things in your life is never time wasted but life, happiness, and longevity gained...
