Taking care of your outfit is not as easy as it sounds at first glance. It is not enough to control the position of your back when you are standing, sitting, or moving. There are still a lot of external factors that influence the health of your back. Let's start from the bottom.

1 Incorrect weight distribution on the soles

Most back problems start with the incorrect distribution of the center of gravity on both feet. Most often, people sit on one leg and bend the second. Thus begins the deformation of the pelvis, which in turn distorts the lower spine. Correspondingly, the top can no longer standstill.

Stand on two legs and spread your body weight over the entire sole, do not lean on the inside or outside.

2 Uncomfortable shoes

The shoes must be comfortable. It doesn't matter if you go running or work with her. It is the daily footwear that plays an important role in the health of the back, as the sole is the first cushioning protection of the spine.

Footwear should be moderately free. Ladies, who have to walk a lot, I recommend wearing shoes with not too high heels, with a height of 2–4 centimeters. The sole must be moderately stiff so that the load on the foot is evenly distributed.

Do you love high heels? You need to minimize their behavior. They overburden the spine more than narrow, hard shoes. The heels change the center of gravity - he moves forward, closer to the fingers, overloading the back muscles. Get down to earth.

3 Sedentary lifestyle

I won't recommend you change jobs, but please stay at the office.

When sitting and standing, distribute the weight evenly on the right and left sides of the pelvis. Strive to maintain symmetry during the workday. Do not cross your legs or use the supports. If there is too much distance between the back of the seat and the back, use a pillow. Fasten with the muscles, but do not hang on the joints, ligaments, and even more so on the spine. It weakens the muscular corset and causes back pain.

4 Incorrect position during sleep

The perfect sleeping position is on your back. The height of the pillow must be such that the face is parallel to the ceiling.

5 Love for bags on one shoulder

Give preference to the backpack, which is worn on both shoulders. But if he doesn't match today's outfit, at least he doesn't load his bag with heavy things and changes his shoulder regularly, which he wears.

6 Incorrect positioning of the car seat

First of all, be correct, as I recommended in point 3.

Second, position the car seat correctly. You may not find the position of the body so important behind the wheel, because you are not there for a long time, but our day is made up of short moments.

Don't keep one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the armrest!

In the case of a car with an automatic transmission, one leg works and the load is unevenly distributed. If you spend a lot of time in the car, then you will regain your balance with Pilates. Or if the foundation, the legs, for some reason do not correspond to the norms, then the whole construction, the spine, will suffer.

7 Unilateral sports

Any asymmetrical load causes a muscle imbalance, which is also distributed on the joints. The imbalance must be neutralized, for example, with the help of Pilates lessons, otherwise, back pain is guaranteed.

8 The haunting thought of seeing the cubes on his abdomen

The load should be evenly distributed between the right and left sides of the trunk, as well as between the front and back. People often overtrain their abdominal muscles, forgetting to process their back muscles, which also causes imbalance and back pain. As well as the incorrect technique of their fulfillment.

9 Incorrect technique in heavyweight training

I, an instructor with a rich experience behind me, train only under the coach's sights anyway. The correct technique is formed only under the eyes of a professional. You can't always see mistakes in the mirror.

10 Amateur swimming

Many, when they experience back pain, go to the pool. But the pain does not subside, on the contrary, it intensifies. Indeed, swimming reduces the burden on the back, but only if the correct technique is followed. So, if you swim with your head above the water, it can't even be about relaxing your spine.

11 Hard physical work

Even if you are not a porter, but you have to lift or move something, then your muscles are in permanent hypertonia. This increases the pressure on the bones and spine. The vertebrae exert increased pressure on the intervertebral discs and the likelihood of protrusions and hernias increases, despite the muscular corset, which at first glance seems strong.

12 Hypothermia

The cold hurts the back. If frostbite, the body tries to warm up. Involuntary muscle contraction begins, which no one notices. Because of this, an additional load is placed on the joints and the muscles remain tense. Overcooling your nerve endings will usually keep you in bed for a long time.

13 The birth

It is a voluminous topic, which we will develop separately. But know that this is still a factor, with an impact on the spine.

14 Emotions

Any emotion is reflected in our bodies. All the phobias, the lack of self-confidence, the feeling of guilt are immediately reflected on the outfit. Your fitness reflects your inner state.
