10 Things to Do in World If You Are Not Vaccinated

I guarantee you won't guess more than 3 of them

Hey, you wake up one morning and realize you do not want to get a vaccine! Maybe you are skeptical of so quickly developed shots they said that would probably take years. Maybe you are afraid of side effects more than Covid-19. Maybe you are just afraid of needles (who likes needles, right?) Maybe you are just one of those people who always looks at what the majority is doing and does the complete opposite. The main reason is not crucial. The point is what can you do in this situation? Here are some options.

  1. Go visit Scandinavia: Sweden, Norway, and Denmark have lifted (almost) all Covid restrictions. You will most likely have to do the PCR test upon arrival and wear a mask, but you will be able to visit and enjoy these beautiful countries.
  2. You can go to a protest. Since you apparently don’t want a shot, it is safe to presume that you are against Covid passports and other restrictions, such as quarantine camps in Australia. You can find these protests all around the world, some of them are pretty exciting and can get violent like the ones in Germany or in Australia. So if you are a fan of extreme sports, you are in the right place.
  3. You cannot go to Israel. If your ambitions as a tourist include the Holy land, you will have to wait for a better chance. In spite of the huge amount of the population vaccinated and very restricted measures in place, the numbers of the infected are still rising. So, forget about it! P.S.Don’t be sad. The biggest irony is that even the Pfizer CEO could not get into Israel because he is not fully vaccinated.
  4. You can switch completely to remote work. It looks like many of us will not be going back to office anytime soon. No one can say for sure when things will be going back to normal, or if this is the “New normal”. For example, I am working from home permanently, but that is because of the nature of my daily job (online teacher). Either way, working remotely is here to stay, in some shape or form.
  5. If you work in a company that requires vaccination, you might as well quit. Or let them fire you. And then sue them. It depends on the type of your personality.
  6. If you are a tennis fan, you most likely cannot go and watch the Australian Open. As of now, the local authorities will not allow even the unvaccinated players to participate in the tournament, which causes big problems for the organizers. That would mean that even the current No.1 tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, could not defend his title there. There are still some negotiations underway and maybe some alternative solution will be found. There are some rumors that the tournament could be moved to another city with less restrictive measures, such as Sidney. However, I would not hold my breath.
  7. Get connected with other like-minded people. There are many online groups that are dedicated to unvaccinated people. Obviously, there is a market for this part of society, so why not use it? You can connect with people with similar views, make new friends or even find an apartment.
  8. Are you looking for a job (please check No.5)? In that case, you can check out the highly controversial social network Gab and their “No Vax Mandate Jobs Board”. They are trying to attract like-minded employers and people searching for a job, especially after recent vaccine mandates in many US states. This might be a perfect match for you.
  9. Speaking of perfect matches, you can find an (also) unvaccinated boyfriend/girlfriend. Unjected is the name of the app that connects people who don’t like vaccines.
  10. Here is a crazy idea: you can get a shot!? Here is the list of available vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford–AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sputnik V, Sputnik Light, Sinopharm BIBP, CoronaVac, Covaxin, Sinopharm WIBP etc. It is almost like a buffet: you can choose between many different options.

At the end of the day, the choice is yours. Sometimes this looks like the scene from the movie “Matrix” where you get to choose between red and the blue pill. Each choice has serious consequences. So choose wisely.
