Do You Read the Road Signs and React Accordingly?

Let me start by saying, I am not an alarmist nor a doomsday prepper. I am just a regular guy with a decent amount of common sense. And just like the picture above, I can read the signs pretty well, in fact I drive for a living. So, I am trained to scan the road up ahead and be 'prepared' to react, proactively. I drive a big truck. Any failure to scan roads, watch what's happening in my peripheral view, or ignoring road signs can be very dangerous and costly to myself and others.

Therefore, with those type of critical thinking skills, it is unintentionally automatically applied to most of my everyday interactions. I read the signs and don't ignore them. It seems that I see what others ignore or are just completely oblivious to. However, with that in mind I also know that most drivers on the road don't have specialized training. They are not held to the same standard as professional drivers are.

"Yeah, collisions will happen, no matter how good you try to drive, and it may not even be your fault. Or it may not be avoidable at times."

But one thing is for certain: failure to acknowledge or obey traffic signs can surely increase risk of danger, or at the least, detour you away from desired destination. So, let's pay very close attention to the signs. Below I will discuss many of these signs of an impending food crisis, that are very obvious and should be undeniable to us all. They are not even hidden at all, they're right there, in plain sight!

In the last few months, we’ve seen the price of gasoline & diesel reach awfully high numbers. Gas has reached nearly $8 per gallon in California, just last week. We’ve all witnessed the cost of a single carton of eggs go up to an ungodly amount.

We’ve witness weird explosions, unexplained train derailments, and subsequent contaminations of air & water in states like Ohio and Michigan. We’ve all watched as China flew strange spy crafts over our heads, in broad day light.

I'd like to think that we are all aware of the fact that the Russian invasion against Ukraine has ripple effects on the world food supplies. In addition to all of this we've all have heard the repeated threats from the Russian president Vladimir Putin & North Korea’s leader Kim Un Jong to do harm to the west with nuclear capable weaponry.

In the past 1-2 years we’ve all witnessed the increasing inflation costs on mostly everything. Inflation is out of control! It is already at nearly 9%. it's bound to get worse. Just imagine if it keeps rising along with the unemployment rate...

And I hope we didn’t forget that in 2021 and 2022 there were so-called shipping and logistic issues that caused shortages on the shelves of many stores, right here in the U.S. We were scrambling for certain items (like baby formula) while hundreds of ships sat on the ocean for months, filled with supplies that were needed.

I’m sure we didn’t forget about the 3 to 5 days of gas shortage in 2021, when the gas pipeline was supposedly hacked. This caused panic. Multitudes of people could not get gas for nearly a week. The gas stations were literally running out of gas! I remember this vividly. We had to drive all over the city for miles to find one gas station without empty pumps. And when we got there, the lines were ridiculously long! There were people fighting and arguing at the pumps. It was CRAZY!

Or let’s recall the recent stock market crash, when millions of confident investors got spooked then began to pull their money out quickly. Several top companies’ stock value plummeted. Some still have not recovered and may never again recover. And let’s not forget about when crypto bottomed up, and many people lost their money & confidence in alternative currencies.

And we have to also pay attention to the latest big thing, which was the long string of tech job layoffs. This had been going on for months. And it was shortly after followed by Silicon Valley Bank crashing, just days ago...

"All these things are tell-tale signs of the times. Something BIG is on the horizon! And it ain't good."

Big tech and big pharma billionaires are seemingly taking over much of the farmlands and monopolizing industries. In the background, shadow governments are rising, forming and uniting to usher us all into an undesired new world order. Or some sort of takeover.

I mean the whole entire world just went through one hell of a roller coaster ride with the Covid-19 p(L)andemic. Many people lost jobs, either due to strict government mandates that they would not adhere to, or due to collapses caused by long term lockdowns. Millions of people (for the first time in their lives) have had to depend on unemployment, food stamps, medicaid, stimulus checks, and PPP loans, in order to financially survive these changing times.

Crime and upheaval have been on a steady uphill incline. Following prolonged lockdowns and medical tyranny massive amounts of people are exhibiting manic mood swings, and mental anguish as a result. The streets have been filled with riots, protests, and civil unrest, whilst defunding police & other civil service authorities.

The nations have seen social injustices, felt racial tensions, many participated in gender disputes & religious clashes. There has been much exposing of political corruption and corporate greed. Human trafficking and even genocide have been exposed. With all that in mind one has to be fully asleep not to consider what could be next...

With World War 3 looming, it is quite clear that we should be preparing for harder times. I figure by now we all can see a major food shortage coming, that will undoubtedly lead to more economic and social problems as well as increased crime. Any wise person will be thinking “PREPARATION!”

I don’t know about you, but $10-12 cartons of eggs said enough for me to start pondering this one question… “HOW CAN WE SURVIVE?”

I thought of buying land and learning farming. But then I realized I would have to make lots more money, quickly in order to do that. Besides that I’d need to learn how to farm by trial & error or through education. Either way this would cost me tons of both time and money that I really don’t have. Then I thought of stock piling food, water and supplies also, (which isn’t a bad idea). But most of those things are designed to expire in short time spans and are not a long-term, sustainable solution.

Of course, there are things we can do such as gardening, canning, ordering MREs, freeze-drying, vacuum-packaging and dehydrating foods, along with water storage and filtration. These are all decent methods to aide in surviving the inevitable future famines and hyper inflations. But I also stumbled upon a hidden gem! This was something I had never even considered nor heard of until recently. It is probably the most ingenious thing I’ve heard of thus far. So simple, yet so profound! It is called the pocket farm.
