This Becomes Your Worst Enemy Or Your Best Friend Toward Success

The Tricky Aspect Of Psychology

Success, I have found not to be very difficult to obtain.

Yet, I find that so many people Struggle to find it within their grasp.

Why is this?

What keeps it out of Reach?

Well, one funny thing that I see frequently is not that Success is out of Reach per se, but that we don't Reach out long enough to grab it.

What do I mean?

Wait for it...

Are you Ready?...

It has to do with Patience.

In our Society today, it is something that many people Struggle with, Including myself at times.

So often, people are far too Quick to give anything a real chance to Succeed.

We make Flash Decisions long before we see what Results we are Gaining.

There is this Desire to see Instantaneous Results, often fueled by our need to keep up with the Imaginary "Jones'" on Social Media or the blatant Marketing designed to make us feel Inferior.

All of which portray false stories and lies.

The Truth is that Life doesn't work like that.

The Lack of Patience will Destroy your Ability to find Success.

See, when we lack Patience, our Anxiety Increases.

We begin to Demand greater Results in Less Time.

This Demand creates Increased Stressors.

In our world today, 80% of people are experiencing Burnout, so adding more Stress on top of that is a recipe for Disaster.

We begin to look for Shortcuts.

Those Shortcuts do not work, and Create a Lower Quality Product or Service overall.

It also creates an Inconsistency in your Work that makes it hard for anyone to Follow.

This leads to people losing Trust in you.

What does this Create?

Higher Stress, More Anxiety, and worse Burnout.

It's a complete recipe that leads to Failure.

All because we lacked Patience.

However, Patience when utilized can also become our Greatest Ally.

Think about it - When the vast majority of the world Lacks Patience, it becomes a Superpower to the few who keep it.

When you let yourself Realize that Success takes Time and Requires Patience, what happens?

You don't have as much Anxiety as others.

With less Anxiety, we begin to have a Healthier relationship with Achievable Results in Reasonable Time.

This Reduces Stress, which further allows us to actually Recover.

As we Recover, we can pull ourselves out of Burnout, and further out of Dis-Stress.

When we do this properly, it Opens up an avenue to Flow States.

Within Flow States, we can Accomplish our Best Work and Feel our Best.

It also Unlocks Creativity and Innovation which are considered some of the most Desirable Traits in Business today.

When you Accomplish more, and Feel Good while doing it, you begin to look like a Healthy Unicorn in a field of Sickness.

This will lead you to staying more Consistent with your Work as well.

That Consistency fuels more Trust in you and your Work.

This in turn creates a more Virtuous Cycle that ends up acting like Jet Fuel toward Success.

Often, the Virtuous Cycle also brings FAR MORE Success than you Realized was Possible.

Now, I know this is hard to keep in Perspective.

I am writing this right now not just for you, but also for Myself.

I too know how Difficult it can be to have Patience.

I was Struggling with that Feeling for half of Yesterday.

When you Feel that Anxiety Rising, Creeping through your Spine so Powerfully that you can't See Straight, your Breathing becomes Shallow, and your Hands literally Shake?

I understand that because it was what was Coursing through me Yesterday.

Breathing helps, sure, but in the midst of it, the Breathing feels useless.

Stick with it, keep reminding yourself of Patience.

Do what you must to Recover.

Bring yourself back from those Feelings.

Remind yourself of the Gameplan.

Remember the Goal of Flow.

Recall that it is Alright, that you are Human, and that you don't have to live up to the False Idols Created by Marketing.

You are more than that.

You have what you need already available to you.

You've come Further than you Realize.

You can't let yourself become Derailed from the Progress you've made.

Patience.

Patience.

Patience.

No matter what, you've got this.

I do suck at being patient, but I am working on it.

Patience, aka temperance and gentleness consistently comes up as a virtue in Aristotelian and other virtue ethics systems. It's a good trait to develop and practice for all sorts of goals and purposes. Great story, as always, Cody!
