Strike When Opportunity Presents Itself

In our Lives, we will be presented with Opportunities to Stand Out from the Crowd.

They don't happen "ALL" the time, but they do happen to be much more frequently than most people realize!

How frequently?

Well, right now if you are an Entrepreneur, you have about a 1 week period presenting itself!

What is happening right now?

Well, most people see the Holidays as a period of Time Off.

What most people also don't realize is that there is a difference between "Time Off" and "Recovery" when it comes to Peak Performance.

Recovery is necessary, and I would also say that it's necessary every day!

However, I would also argue that taking "Time Off", right NOW, would be a terrible mistake.

See, during this period 3 things happen simultaneously:

• Most people take a break - including Entrepreneurs.
• Businesses that don't take a break are generally Focused on Excessively Salesy Messaging that everyone mostly ignores.
• People are also sitting at home spending MORE time on their devices than they normally do, with LESS content being created.

This means that most people are PRIMED to discover something or someone New and Meaningful, and it is EASIER for them to find!

While the competition is sleeping or resting on their laurels, you can fill a gigantic gap that exists!

If you want to take "Time Off", wait for the bloodbath that is January 1st!

That's when EVERYONE decides they are going to "change their lives", and become an influencer "overnight", and then they most likely give up after 1 month or less realizing how hard it is.

No one stands out in the midst of THAT Chaos!

However, you have to also realize "what" the Opportunity is right now.

It's not to just "add" to the Super Salesy, Last Ditch Efforts that most Businesses are doing.

That will simply turn people away and make them never look back.

Rather, instead, people are looking for something MEANINGFUL, and something REAL.

Between the Harsh Realities most people face, the Magic of Christmas, and the Promise of a New Year, people are Hopeful and are looking for something New and Different.

Being Different is also a great tool during this time - perhaps there is a different word that may strike more True to further my point:

Unique.

This is a period of time where people are seeking something Unique, and the Beautiful part of that is that to be "Unique" you just need to be yourself!

So many people are "trying" to be something they obviously aren't!

Unless you are an Actor, Impersonator, Voice Actor, or Stunt Double, then you should just be yourself!

(If you are one of those, well then be EXCELLENT at your role!)

YOU are what makes You Unique!

The best way to Win with the Opportunities presented is to be the best version of Yourself!

It is also much easier to Win during the periods when others self-select themselves out of the Competition.

This is very similar to how Michael Phelps won when it came to Opportunities that presented themselves.

He realized that his competitors only chose to hit the pool 5 Days a week, and self-selected out 2 Days.

So, Phelps seized the opportunity that no one else was taking.

He decided to practice all 7 Days.

That Decision made him Stand Out.

That extra Practice made him better.

His Focus on what made him Unique allowed him to Excel.

That gave him more than an extra 100 days of practice every year!

An extra 100+ Opportunities that were Presented to everyone, but which few individuals actually took.

The more frequently you take these Opportunities, that others leave on the table, the easier it is for you to Stand Out.
