"Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street."

Attract business leaders to your online marketing campaigns. They understand the challenges and are up for the challenge. Who can't use a business success story to boost their resume?

Elevate your content by asking for guest articles and personal essays. A "proof of concept" — as it's known in the business world — will help you to achieve your goals. And get the word out on social media that you need expert contributors and articles.

And now we move on to our next topic — immediate and abundant income. For too long, the "retirement game" has been run in a land of drudgery and poverty. The concept of an early retirement has been only a mythical dream. It was just another dream that never came true.

Did you know that if you're financially secure in retirement and you're under the age of 75, a good retirement savings is right now possible for you? It's time to seize the day and make this happen today.

For a safe and secure retirement you must stay vigilant. You must avoid picking a financial time bomb like the one you had in your late 20s or early 30s. That you were so incredibly responsible in building a $2 million retirement nest egg, only to watch it go down the drain because you made a single bad investment.

Because if you do, well, you're going to have to live with that reality for the rest of your life.

Luckily, that's not where we're headed!

True, there are always going to be setbacks, and there are going to be unexpected twists and turns along the way. That's what life is all about — overcoming challenges and obstacles. It's up to you and me, but we can do it.

We're on the right track, we just have to make sure we're sticking to our plan. Make sure you've implemented the steps outlined in this article.

All we need to do is get our savings, and investments, and real estate properties, and we'll be off to the races. But as many know, the big money doesn't always come to those who are more ambitious.

There is a fine line between success and failure. The more you strive for success, the more you'll feel the impact of failure — that's part of the game. The harder you work for success, the more satisfaction you'll get when you achieve it.

That's why it's so critical to stay on the road that's best for you — not the road that's best for others or your job. There's a big difference.

What's your definition of success?

In 2017, there's no such thing as "work/life balance" or "work-life balance." The work you do today determines your happiness and productivity tomorrow. If you're constantly grinding, it's going to take its toll on you.

Too many times, I see people who take on projects and responsibilities at work that they're not capable of handling. When you're not aware of what you can do and don't ask questions, you'll do it wrong — and make mistakes that will haunt you for years to come.

Your income should increase with the amount of time you spend working for your business or at your job. So don't take on new projects and projects you're not ready to do. It doesn't matter if you're doing it now or 20 years from now, the work you do now is going to have a big impact on your future income.

For example, right now, I'm writing this article. And I could do it in the next hour if I had the proper amount of time.

The truth is that we should be working for a living to be able to work for ourselves. That's how we'll never be trapped in a job we hate and can't stand. Or "doing the math" on what it's going to take to retire and live the life we want.

Your work or business will be done when you're happy with what you have achieved. That's when you can leave your job and go out and enjoy life. That's when you can look in the mirror and say: "I did all that I could to achieve success and achieve happiness."

The most difficult part of this journey is to make that transition from doing what's expected to doing what's truly best for you.
