There are literally thousands of personalities in the world. However, there are only 4 main types of people in the workplace. All of those thousands of personalities can simply be categorized into these 4 main types. Don't believe me? Let us take a look at these 4 main types of people in the workplace:

1. Demander

The first type is the demander type. This type of a colleague or superior is what constantly gives you pressure in the workplace. When they demand something of you, it always comes with phrases such as "I want it now", or "I want it be done now". To an end, this type of person usually is on the rush and have no time to even slow down a little bit. You may ask, "How to deal with such person?". The best way to deal with such a person is constantly be prepared to provide what is required from him or her, to such an extent that it can be rendered immediately. This type of people are usually the top management, who is always on the run for the survival of themselves and also the business.

2. Slacker

This type of a person is as the name says, a slacker. He or she will slacks when there is opportunity to do so, for example, when the boss is not around, or when there is nothing else could be done for the workday. They slack and slack until they finally find that all they do is just slacking and nothing else.

Eventually, they will get find out by the boss and have another assignment tasked to them. In between of doing the assignment, they too, will slack, taking as much of their own sweet time as possible to do it.

This type of people is very chatty because they have got nothing better to do, so they chat constantly with other co-workers. This type of person has nothing to be feared of as they are easily just expendables from the point of view of the company. They usually work a minimal term of service until they either get too bored or get booted out.

3. The over-achiever

The over-achiever is the type that commands most respect in the company. He or she will slough and plough off any bit of tasks he or she can find his or her hands on.

Towards this end, he or she will constantly be on the prowl looking for things to be managed, to be rearranged, to be tidied and such. Usually this type of people can be dealt with through respect and honour for their outstanding service to the company.

They usually ends up being managers. They end up working for as long as their age permits, usually until retirement.

4. The get-bys

The get-bys doesn't enjoy work as much as the over-achievers do. But they do complete their work on time and properly. It's just that they do what is required of them and then go full stop, after it's done. Nothing more, and also nothing lesser.

For as long as they get their work done, no one could really complain about them because it feels just quite legit to be like this. People like this are easy to be dealt with, because they are quite complacent and doesn't compete or fight much.

They are easy to go with and also couldn't be bothered if you don't like them as much. This type of people usually works for a middle length of term in the company, until they find a more lucrative option for them to get by, in better terms.

Which of the above 4 types of people in the workplace is you? Like and comment! Thank you.
