Why Do You Often Dream of Being Chased and Run Away?

Your personality is made up of numerous parts that have contradictory characteristics. Some of these parts are not conscious because they belong to the primitive and wild side of your brain. These parts are absurd and violent.

When one of these parts of your personality tries to control your conscience, you dream that you are being chased and need to run away. In the dream, you run to escape the person chasing you, but in reality, you are trying to escape the primitive side of your brain, which is almost controlling your behavior.

This happens when you realize that you need to avoid an inappropriate attitude, but you do so with great difficulty.

For example, you are always getting angry for insignificant reasons and fighting with various people. You realize that this situation is troublesome and you try to control your anger, but that is not easy because you keep getting angry.

You simply avoid saying anything in moments of nervousness so you don't fight again. That's why you dream that you are constantly being chased (by the nervous part of your personality) who appears as a person or a monster in your dreams. That is, the inappropriate attitude continues to haunt you.

How To Stop Having Bad Dreams

In order to stop having such dreams, you need to learn to forgive your enemies and stay calm. Otherwise, the part of your personality that imposes anger won’t be definitely sent away.

Changing your attitude is very difficult, even if you decide to behave sensibly rather than violently.

This happens because the primitive part of your brain does not stop attacking your conscience and imposing a violent or immoral attitude.

Therefore, you need to follow psychotherapy through the interpretation of your dreams to learn what to do to get rid of the constant attacks of the primitive and wild side of your brain.

If you are unable to follow psychotherapy due to lack of time or another reason, you must insist very much on changing your behavior and try to understand why you are wrong when you explode in anger.

If you think that others are to blame because they keep doing things that irritate you, you won't be able to stop being nervous, even if you can swallow your anger for a few moments.

You need to understand that whenever you behave in an aggressive or immoral way you are wrong, not those around you.

No doubt others can be wrong too, but your behavior should not depend on the behavior of others.

You must act wisely regardless of the attitude of others or the situation you find yourself in. You are responsible for your actions and not for the actions of others.

For instance, you will be held accountable if you commit a crime because someone wronged you. Making the argument that someone else was unfair and responsible for your loss of control will not help you. You must respect the laws of the society in which you live.

Even if someone has been unfair to you, that person doesn't deserve to lose their life because you got angry. You need to learn to control your behavior and always have a proper attitude, no matter how much others irritate you.

Likewise, you must be moral even when someone else is immoral, and so on. You need to learn to always have the right attitude in every situation, without depending on the behavior of others.

Therefore, whenever you have some dream in which you are persecuted try to understand what kind of behavior you are trying to avoid and try to understand why you are wrong for wanting to behave in a violent or immoral way.

Don't blame those around you. Recognize that you must behave admirably to be a decent and wise person, so that you are happy with yourself and can influence others to behave admirably.

Instead of letting other people's attitudes toward you determine how you should act, you should be superior and encourage others to have a positive attitude by having a positive attitude toward them.

By doing this, you will make their lives better and maintain world peace.
