In this novel, a 6-year-old girl named Scout Finch narrates the story of her childhood days.

Scout lives in Maycomb, Alabama with her older brother Jem and father Atticus. His mother was dead first.

At that time, like the rest of the world, America was also suffering from the Great Depression. The economy was bad. Poverty and hunger were increasing.

But Scout's father Atticus was a respected lawyer. So his family was quite rich compared to other people. And they didn't lack anything.

Hot days ki baat hai. There were holidays in schools.

Those days, a boy named Dill came to stay with his aunt in Scout's neighborhood.
He became good friends with Scout and Jem. And the three children used to play various games throughout the day.

One day Dill saw a mysterious house on his way. And I asked him about it. many horror stories were told about him.

And children were told to stay away from that house.

But Dill wanted to see what Boo looked like. Those people make holes in the wall. But they have no eyes anymore.

School opens when the holidays are over.

Come and go from school Scout and Jem keep getting gifts every day they come out of Boo's house. Which they like very much. A year passes like this.

Dill is back again the next summer.

This time the three children break the wall and go to Boo's property.
But then suddenly someone shoots at him. He was Boo's brother Nathan.
Children are scared.

Meanwhile, Jem's pant gets stuck in the bushes and does not come off. Panicking, Jem takes off his pant and runs away.

When the children arrive home, Atticus explains to them that this is not the way to break into someone's property.

The next day Jem finds his pants on the fence outside Boo's house. Someone had also sewn the torn pants.

Jem pulled his pants back up.

After this, Scout and Jem continue to receive gifts outside of Boo's house during the winter.

Once there was a fire in someone's house in the neighborhood. Scout was watching people put out the fire.
Then ash and sparks started falling on him. But someone covered him with a blanket to save him.

Scout felt like Boo did it to save her.

One day a black man named Tom is falsely accused of raping a white girl named Mayella. Judge Taylor asks Atticus to fight Tom's case.

The white people of Maycomb were racist. They looked down on black people.
When Atticus took Tom's case, everyone began to condemn him.
He met many people.

Scout and Jem were also called by their school classmates – Nigger Lover.

At Christmas, Atticus's black cook, Calpurnia, takes the two children to the black people's church. There black people love children very much.

A day before the start of Tom's case, some people gather to lynch Tom's mob. Atticus comes to the rescue.

Scout and Jem also reach there secretly.

Then Scout recognizes a man. That man's son was studying in Scout's class.
Scout begins to have a child-friendly conversation with the man about his island.

Then Tom's case begins. Sara Hal is full of people.
There was no place to sit.
Scout and Jem sit at the black people's place.

Atticus proves Mayella and her father, Bob, were lying.
Mayella called Tom over.

But when her father Bob saw Mayella with Tom he went mad with rage.
He abused and even beat Mayella. This caused bruises on his face.
Then she asked Mayella to implicate Tom in a false rape case.

Atticus presented ample evidence of all this to the court.

But despite all this, a white jury found Tom guilty. he drowned in despair.

Atticus says that he will try again to change the verdict.

he tries to flee from jail. And he was killed by a bullet from the guards.

Although the verdict was in Bob's favor, Bob was still very angry.

Atticus had put his pole deep in every match at court. No one respected him anymore.
and he decides to get revenge.

He badmouths Tom's widow.

He also tries to forcefully enter Judge's house.

And when Scout and Jem are returning home on Halloween night, he makes a deadly attack on them. This causes a fracture in Jem's side.

But then Boo reaches there. He confronts Bob and he dies.

(But the mystery in this novel is that the knife is Boo se laga tha ya Jem se!)

Boo then picks up the injured Jem on the dock and carries the two children to Atticus.
The sheriff comes there and takes complete information about the incident.

He says that the report will say that Bob accidentally slipped and fell on his knife. From which he died.

That's when Scout realizes that their rescuer is Boo, the man who lived in the mysterious house.
And she saw him for the first time today.

After all these events Scout's father Atticus advises him that we should try to understand the pain of others.

In the end, the writer says that even after seeing hatred and discrimination up close, she will not let her faith in humanity go down.

Because along with evil there is good in humanity.
