WE LOVE THE WHITE COLOR

WE LOVE THE WHITE COLOR

It was a wonderful morning when the news broke through the city that something strange yet beautiful has happened. It is something that has never happened before. The Queen has just put to birth a unique color. His eyes were green while his hair was black. He was clothed with golden robe and he was counted as one of the most greatest gifts the gods has given the land.

Indeed, the City of blacks has experienced something spectacular. One regarded as fortune.

The city of Black is known for its pristine golden soil that gives the green grandeur and builds within the heart feelings of satisfaction, strength and wealth. Her buildings glows with the skies and friendship with the trees. The best things were gotten in the most easiest way. This was the drum beaten together.

At every sight of communal activities, we see calabash clashing, hands busy and the mouth constantly communicates joyfully with the belly. This was the great pride.

It is a commemorating event when a fellow black take to earth a fellow and it is more a thing of celebration when one who is different is born.

One day, the city became heavily noisy, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers came out to a particular location. It was like a heavy rain fall, lo and behold, it was an helicopter of sojourners. Out of it where people of white skin, beautiful and gorgeous. It was god’s design and a blessing to see people of white color. This forms the rumor of the day.

The prince has a brother, the villagers exclaimed!!!. At this time, the prince was 8 years old.

The Onojie (King) began to ask questions in his silence; the prince is a product of the soil, how come he looks like strangers who we have never seen. This was the question and a topic of interest.

The hearts of the sojourners began to beat, fears gripped their hearts, hopes became far, life became meaningless and short to them. Facing them was a reality of giants in guard of the King. Between them was a barrier you can not see, nor touch. Only smiles and expressions and gestures became an instrument to read the condition of the environment.

It was a look of fear, loss and pain when the King shouted, EGHONGHON!!! (Joy/Celebration)

The arrival of these folks seems prepared for. The golden bell was wrung, a little while, beautiful angels fell out of the city to welcome the strange but loved sojourners.

Each step of these dancers reminds them that they are safe, each twist of her waist reminds her admirers that they have found themselves among a fragile yet strong heritage.

Words can not express the moments. It was the best experience for almost everyone.

Without a word, you were loved, without a gesture, you were cherished, without paying, you were cared for. This was the picture of the affection of the black community.

Seeing the white color draws smiles, gives hope and admiration. This is what is most genuine. Everyone wants to help, everyone wants to be around you. This was the story of the black community in the city of Ugboha.

Days later when it was time to embark on their journey, heart became heavy, tears became ocean and a feeling of love filled the arena. It was something painful but necessary.

It is years now that Jack had shared a tear, because he feels all these while that crying is for the weak and he has always taken the strong path.

It was something hard, something uneasy, but we have to meet our families.

After finally re-reading this, my brain is able to distinguish "black community" and "white color" as double entendres painted together in a metaphor that celebrates them both. It's interesting and I believe it could be even more compelling if properly edited.

I have to be honest, I read this on my lunch break, but I’ll have to read it again when I can focus lmao I’m not sure what the underlying message is here but I’ll give it a like for being enticing and perplexing.
