Normal of Titanic's rich travelers, the Strauses involved various lodges (C-55-57) with more than adequate space to oblige Isidor's servant, John Farthing, and Ida's house keeper, Ms. Ellen Bird. Ida was dazzled by the greatness of the Titanic as she was unable to quit spouting about it in her letters.

"Be that as it may, what a boat! So immense and greatly selected. Our rooms are outfitted in awesome of taste and most richly and they are truly rooms, not lodges. What an astonishing encounter!"

The Majestic Titanic Sunk

It was a tomfoolery experience for the Strauses who partook in all of the lavish boat until the dim day of fifteenth April 1912 showed up, when the lofty Titanic at last sank in the chilly Atlantic Ocean.

As the Titanic started sinking into the freezing sea, ladies and youngsters were guided into rafts. As they had a place with the 'exclusive' class Isidor could go with his better half Ida in raft no 8. Isidor rejected, saying.

"I won't go before different men."

Ida followed after accordingly and emerged from the boat saying that she will not be isolated from her significant other.
