The Ongoing Battle To Keep Our Hearts Open

As most of us have already acknowledged through a variety of cliche sayings such as the famous “life is a Merri-go-round”, life is in fact a series of extremely emotional up and down events. Some inspire true joy and happiness while others incur the lower vibrational emotions such as anger, grief, sorrow, regret and so on. I’m here to explain that it is these events that cause these lower vibrational emotions that act as, let’s just say, hurdles in our own personal journey toward long term fulfillment. Long term emotional, physical, spiritual and financial freedom. What if I told you that everything “wrong” in your life, whether done to you or through an extension of you, something or someone you love, was purposely designed to cause you to give up. Or in a more thorough term, to cause you to close your heart. Thus blocking you from the pure magical guidance that your heart provides. Also known as intuition. You are then only acting from your mind. Which is not a bad thing if you have complete control over your mind and can easily center it, however it takes an open heart to be able to do so. Most people here on earth are solely basing their decisions and actions off of a mind that is completely engulfed by memories of past mistakes, trauma, sadness, pain, and anything that ever hurt. They use these past experiences as an excuse to no longer act from a place of having an open heart but fail to realize that the abilitily to still be able to do so, is the one general mission of this life here on earth.

The truth is everyone and everything, no matter how they act. No matter how annoying, preposterous, or ridiculous their behaviors are, are completely justified in doing so. Everything we think and do is nothing more than a product of our past experiences. For example, most people who go through a series of unsuccessful relationships usually all come to the same conclusion: People ain’t shit. This then causes them to operate from a place of past hurt and pain. After experiencing enough of this pain, they close their heart and from then on everytime they encounter a potential significant other, the mind will tell them: People ain’t shit. While we have every right to be annoyed at the toll of which unsuccessful relationships take on us, the problem is that a mind engulfed in past hurt and fears, can only operate from ego. The polar opposite of the decisions and choices we make when made from our hearts. Ego tells you to take these experiences personal. It causes you to rage as you believe everything wrong is done to you purposely. And sometimes that is the case but often times, it is not. The heart reminds you that nothing is personal. And that you are simply here to observe and learn from these experiences no matter how brutal or challenging they prove to be. When you view these experiences this way, it allows you to go through them and come out on the other side with a heart still as open as the day you were born. That is how you win this battle called Life. It is only when you realize this, that life no longer becomes a battle.

So many people here on this Earth today are operating with closed hearts. A closed heart feels no emotion but emotion is the true currency of this spiritual, yet disguised as material, world. So when you deprive yourself of the luxury of feeling them, exploring them and extending them, you are not living. Why deprive yourself of so many opportunities because of ones that failed in the past? Why retract and barricade all emotion inside yourself because one person failed to respect them in the past? Instead of observe and learn from the circumstances of each and every one of these failed opportunities, whether it was financial, romantic, or anything else, until the day comes where you succeed in all of these aspects. Emotional, physical, spiritual, and yes, even financial freedom are all of our birthrights. However some let the brutal obstacle courses that this world purposely throws at us, steer them off of the course toward their own. It is okay to experience hurt, grief, pain, and any sorrows. They are just as real of an emotion as the more enjoyable ones. However it is not okay to live there. It is not okay to construct views and beliefs based off those emotions. Because then you are only preventing yourself from the pockets of raw true and beautiful emotion embedded in every single day as well as someday, your own total emotional fulfillment.

When your heart is open, you operate out of love. When it is closed, you are operating out of fear. A lot of people do not know that fear is an actual disease. Not a disease of the body but a disease of the mind. Which in my opinion, is far worse than any other. Do not fall victim to this purposely placed construct.
