The coolest left hand

In June 2011, Brawn, the boss of the F1 Mercedes GP team, received a very interesting letter. The paper was red, smelled faintly of lilac, and was carefully folded to look like a car.

It was written by Matthew James, 14, who lives in Wokingham, Berkshire. He says his left hand is unique and unique in his heart because he was born without it. It took a while, but Matthew, who was sure to be fitted with the world's best bionic hand in two months 'time, began a different life. He tied knives, forks and brushes to his left arm to eat and write. He patted his father's shoulder with his clumsy left arm.

When he bent over to pick up a ball, he even stubbornly extended his left arm before using his right hand to assist...

On August 12, 2011, Touch Bionics fitted Matthew with an advanced bionic left hand. After being fitted with a bionic hand, it takes about half a year of training for a patient to do some basic movements.
