Epic love stories and relationships as depicted in pop culture, though it rarely turns out like that in real life.
Isn't It Bromantic?
Summer is the perfect time to kick back and relax with a good book. For me, summer reading has a different feel to it than winter reading. During the winter, I find myself getting cozy with a thrilling adventure or shocking mystery, but during the summer I want to sit by the pool with a nice steamy romance or daring drama. Beach reads, a popular subgenre of books designed to capture the ease of the summer spirit, are often a section of the bookstore that I overlook, but there was something about this book that caught my eye.

Music Therapy
I first encountered music therapy during a 28 day rehab stint. It was helpful for so many reasons. First, you realize that your feelings are more common than you think. No matter what emotional turmoil you have been through, or any trauma you may have endured, someone has written a song about it. Second, it gets you out of your head. In sobriety, you can get trapped inside your head, and recovery is about letting those feelings out. Music helps you do that. Third, in writing music, I can tell the paper things that I can't tell the people in my life. Sometimes, I hide behind my music, until I'm ready to discuss things in person.

Entrepreneurs Make Exceptional Hikers
This summer I decided to explore forests and parks in an attempt to increase activity and regain muscle strength. As an entrepreneur, I have learned that once I make a decision, I have to work on an implementation plan. So, in an attempt to understand what hiking is all about, I decided with my girls to go for a walk in Hilton Falls Park. Starting with a bottle of water and an old pair of walking shoes, I walked 2.5 km. That day, I enjoyed my time with my girls, I took some pictures and I went back to where my car was parked, thinking that I have hiked that day. Little did I know that hiking is a sport and one can become a professional hiker! As I approached my car, I noticed a lady in the car beside mine packing her hiking sticks. She looked like she was performing a cleansing ritual from the sweat of a long hike. As I came closer, I recognized her face and even her name came to mind! I called her name out: “Karen?!”, she looked at me with eyes that were trying to recognize who I am. I mentioned my name, and we immediately started recollecting the time when we were working together at an International non-profit organization, over 20 years ago.

Renaissance Festival War Stories: The Lost Scrolls 2022
Just as the cannon fires Sunday morning, I want to run a quick errand. I say, "I want to be back in 10 minutes." Jacqueline literally sets her clock and says, "Go." I don't think I need to run, but I should have known better. There is something about the time warp that is the festival grounds. I speed walk to where I need to go, but get stopped by friends on the way. I try to get through my salutations quickly. I go to the honey booth, but that vendor is always kind too and that always leads to conversation. I make my purchase and b-line back to the booth. I am stopped about 20 feet before the booth by my friend Greg who says he has something for me. This.. .

A Reference Guide of ‘Who’, ‘What’, ‘Where’, ‘Why’, and ‘How’ for Christian Life
Here is Christianity at its core: (This is regardless of how people want to subjectively interpret these texts to fit their own comfort and lifestyle. It’s also regardless of any past experiences with “Christians” that were less than ideal or off-putting.)

What Fantasy Race Arguments Really Say About Us
It has been weeks, and still the backlash rages on. You can turn to any corner of the internet and find it, raging internet trolls whose lives have been “destroyed”. Not by war or any government mandates. No. By the choice of Disney+ to release a straight-to-television version of The Little Mermaid in which the lead role (Ariel) is played by a Black woman.
