lgbtq
The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
On the Roof
It was about two years from the time that Sherlock Holmes jumped off the roof at Bart's Hospital. I decided it was time to go back to Bart's and revisit, to put my nightmares to rest.
Arlene PlacerPublished 7 years ago in HumansDating When You're Trans and Gay
As a transgender gay man, the dating pool for me is very, very limited. You have to narrow it down to men, then queer men, and then queer men who aren't transphobic, which leaves maybe 20 guys. And I live in Maine, so it's more like five guys. This all being said: there are five rules to follow when you're trans and gay and dating.
Pride 2017
This is a little late, but I wanted to post it anyway. You can check it out on my tumblr, too. I am a trans queer guy and this year I am not just celebrating pride for myself, I am celebrating for everyone who can’t. I’m celebrating for the people that live in countries that kill queer people. I am celebrating pride for the people that live in religious homes that criticize and demean queer individuals. I am celebrating for the people whose lives were taken last year by a homophobic racist. Rest in peace, Orlando victims.
Long Distance Relationships
Does being in a Long Distance Relationship have to be so complicated? Well for me, the answer is no! I am going to share some tips with everybody who's in an LDR and maybe just for people who would like to learn about how I make things work.

I recently got a very short haircut, shaved sides and all, and I have gotten countless unsolicited comments on the matter. Many people seem to like it, but many others seem to think that it is too masculine.
Simone OlakPublished 7 years ago in HumansBecause Their Expectations Are Not What You Need to Focus On
I can't say that I understand what women go through, but as a dude who dates dudes, I can say that I understand the expectation that guys have had for me: to be smooth all over, have my hair and outfit perfect, keep my skin 100% blemish free, put out — all the time — or risk losing their interest.
Joffery HollsworthPublished 7 years ago in HumansThe Church Must Learn From Its Past
There are gay people in our congregations. Who love God and who are deeply loved by Him. They worship the Father in all sincerity and truth and are at peace with themselves.

Dear Future Love, I'm new to this whole thing, but I don't know what else to do, I have a few things I need to talk about.
No Hate
So, I randomly clicked on a video on YouTube. It was a proposal video. A woman proposing to her longtime girlfriend. It was very sweet and very beautiful. Then I started to read the comments on the video and felt really disgusted by what these people said. I can't believe how close minded some people are. Those words hurt me a lot. I saw words like faggot, and dykes. One person even said, "We need more gas chambers."

Picture this for a second... You go out on a date with an amazing man. He is everything you have ever dreamed of. He is good looking, he dresses well, he is smart, caring and affectionate, has an amazing job, pays for the bill... and you decide you will bring him up for a nightcap after the date.

I didn’t see the rainbow girl for quite sometime after that. Christmas came and went, as well as New Year. My grandparents Olga and Delio came to visit, and so did my brother Marco and his boyfriend Neri, so I didn’t go back to Portugal for the holidays.

I am a 20-year-old lesbian woman, in college, and have been in an on-again-off-again relationship with another woman. For as long as I can remember, I've always known, no matter who I was with, I wanted to be a mother. Unfortunately, that meant I became obsessed with the idea, and nearly did the unspeakable, becoming pregnant on purpose, and having a child before I was even 16 years old.
