friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
Nibs And Go’s
Jay was going to kill me. He didn’t like anything particularly messy. So, sloshing along the muddy path behind Carlson, with chocolatey dirt pudding caking around my rarely used dress shoes, the bluer the words I could imagine I’d hear upon my return. Although frankly, I’m more of a peach cobbler with graham cracker crust than a chocolate fan. That made me laugh. Weird trains of thought always fascinate and amuse me.

Love Friendship
Ch. One 3 years ago… “Really Nia, you just going to leave in the middle of the night?” ask Jason. “Heck Yeah,’’ say Nia. “So, you really going to trip over me not remembering your birthday and a few other things. It’s been years between us, and people can forget stuff.” “Well, you can’t say that we were friends, before we were even born. Matter of fact, if you pull yourself together, and stop whatever drug that you are on, maybe you can remember much more. Look, I am just done with you and our friendship. What is sad, is that both of our fathers know each other, you are the nephew of my godparents, and we run in the same circle of friends.” Nia grabbed the rest of her things and threw them into her Victoria Secret tote and left out the door.

No Outlaw
In the middle of a thunderstorm, two men are on horseback, barreling through a well-worn trail. If you ask the townsfolk from Chelsea, they're a couple of vagabonds fleeing the scene of a vicious high noon commotion. If you asked the two men, Johnathan Wyatt and Elias Finch, they're headed east to Sumpter Hill on a job.

Agent Penny and the Dusty Discovery
The clock ticks by as a random video drones on at the front of the classroom. I wonder why we're forced to watch anything educational since school is technically done for the day. I'm so bored I'm afraid I may die. Looking around the ancient room I feel as though I've travelled through time. There have been so many changes in my life lately I may not notice if I did. New town, new school, new post-pandemic life.
