Disappearance at Lake Huánuco
The beautiful shimmering light reflection of the moon. It radiated a heavenly glow, but the picture would deceive. My friends and I had been planning this trip for a while. They were interested in seeing all of Peru and the ruins, all the tourist stuff. I wanted to find the Gold. I knew of this legend from a man I visited in the nursing home where I worked. People called him crazy Jose, but his stories of the treasures he saw astounded me.

Worship me
“You can watch a little bit of war from our nice living room, 30 seconds of what’s going on in Syria, and when you’ve had enough, switch over to some celebrity program. We live our lives through screens and images, in this way, we don’t know what’s real or fake anymore, it does not matter.” Said Alison Jackson, the multi-award English photographer more than 20 years ago. In a way, this is a true representation of what going on for decades. Gone are the days of flipping channels and buying magazines, but now, everything your heart’s desire is at your fingertips, what a wonderful time to be alive right?

"The Last Ride of the Deathmobile"
Despite what you may believe, the following story is completely true. It happened just as I describe it here. And as the subtitle explains, the event nearly led to my death, or at the very least, certainly lengthy hospital recuperation combined with many thousands of dollars of facial reconstruction.

Journal 9 1 2021
I exhale completely and hold the lack of air. I let this resonate. The ticking of a clock. The screaming of the lungs. I stare into the portal and reclaim my place. I can not go back. For this I am sorry. I know how awful it is to be devoured by this fucking world. Do not fret. I believe I will return. I pull the pin and toss the grenade upon the ship soaked in kerosene. The fire was something out of hell and raged even after the sun came up. I will not go back.

Journey to a Forest party
3 weeks ago an English friend of mine -actually he's more of an acquaintance as opposed to a friend- Jack (not Daniels), invited me to a random illegal forest party hidden within the trees of Hampstead Heath. I live miles away from there so it took an eternity to get to my destination, to make matters worse I couldn't use my mobile data making it even more difficult in finding the exact location, the journey just begun and already it seemed bleak and hopes of finding the place was slowly fading away. Hope was restored momentarily when I happened to by chance come across a public Wi-Fi spot. Once tethered to the Cafe's hotspot, I took screenshots of the planned journey using the Google Maps app. The clock struck 12am, there was complete darkness as far as the eyes could see ( I could just about see 2 feet in front of me) and there was an eerie substance in the air. After about 10 minutes of strenuous walking I felt a cold shiver run down the back of my spine. It was probably the most chilling sensation I had ever felt. You know the saying right? when in danger your fight or flight response kicks in?... yeah, well it so happened that both my feet were frozen like fish fingers from Iceland, I was determined to find a safer route (the flight response) albeit my feet had other plans (the fight response). It was almost as if I was in a trance, mindlessly walking towards a doomed destination.
