If you’re a brown girl who’s into guys, you probably know what I’ll be talking about here. Coming from a predominantly white area with a past of internalized racism, your quest for the approval of the white man is just something you need to go through. Though I try not to care about anyone’s acceptance anymore, I will say that as a chocolate girl, I have a thing for chocolate colored hair. In other words: I kinda dig white guys...sometimes…but not only, obvi. Even if I wish they all had the social intelligence of Trevor Noah, most of them just don’t. Being close to my 21st birthday, I can say that I’ve seen a few try to slide into my dm's and red flags were usually quickly raised. The class and humbling radiance emanated from her gracious walk as soon as she stepped into the room. As heads of men and women alike shifted toward her, even the band's vocalist seemed to almost forget his line. Her hair, the tips of which grazed her sacrum, flowed and soothed the soul in a way that would put the ocean waves and falling rain to shame. So deep, that it drew from the moment innocence itself and would bring the likes of Leonidas I himself to bawl uncontrollably upon witnessing such divinity.

My Love
The walk to work had always been long, but today I found it even longer. One big fight with the boy I love. With the mess of thoughts jumbled in my head, I still can't seem to say a bad thing about him. I've spent about 20 minutes walking so far, trying to come up with everything wrong with him, just to keep my head on straight.
