dating
All about dating. First dates, three years into a relationship, Tinder, and more.
Crazy and Absurd
First, have you ever been on a date where you questioned what they were thinking? Where you physically sat there wondering what was going through the other person's mind when they said or did what they were doing? I wish this hadn't been the case for me and on more than one occasion.
Brooke HudsonPublished 3 years ago in Humans3 Reasons Why Hiring A Professional Dating Agency Manchester Is Worth the While
People think that hiring the services of a dating agency can be quite expensive. For this reason, some people look for other means to find dates, particularly by joining dating websites with membership fees or using free apps on their mobile phones, which may also charge for certain features such as allowing them to see profiles near their area, and the like. This, however, often becomes fruitless because getting to know someone online and meeting them in person are two different things. And others think that there are too much grey areas in the type of relationship they’re getting into or trying to establish, for that matter. For this reason, many people consider getting the services of a professional dating agency Manchester to help them achieve their dating goals.
Carlisa NewtonPublished 3 years ago in HumansConfessions of... a man hater
When I was a teenager, I was two things, a binge drinker and a man hater. My mum was a man hater before me, even though this year she's been married for forty odd years, and my gran was a man hater before her, even though she had been married for sixty odd years when she passed.
Why be a licking dog?
What is the "Licking dog"? It's very pop word in East-Asian world for now, especially in China. Its word to talking about people in lower ranks to chase their crush.

ANOTHER COUNTRY I guess I should explain that this was in the 70s.... you are all familiar with the quote “the past is another country” ....well it literally is in my case. However geography aside, the things we accepted, never even thought to question and even liked back then when looked at through the prism of “now” it’s actually more of a different PLANET.

She walked into the restaurant and looked around, expecting the worst. She still couldn’t understand why she had even agreed to this in the first place. This was the first time she was going on a blind date and she was convinced that it was completely unnecessary. At 25 years of age, there is a lot a lady would like to explore before getting hooked to a man.

I'm laying here staring at this beautiful work of perfection, trying to figure out how we have gotten to where we are. For those that don't know I've been dating Jenn for 3 years now and the love we once had was immaculate. Now it's like we coexist. Laying here in our bed on two different sides with two different blankets and a valley of open space between us. All love has been lost but neither one of us will let go. I guess you can say we've grown comfortable and we don't want to learn new ways. These moments I stare at her I remember just what it is I loved about her. Her beauty no doubt she has the most flawless, olive skin and eyelashes that could make you catch your breath the moment she bats her eyes at you and juicy, full lips that cover an award-winning, Colgate smile. It is also in these moments I start resenting her. I resent that she sucked me in with her beauty. She sold me a dream that I foolishly bought into simply because she was beautiful. She promised me that we would live a great life. She promised me that she’d love me forever. She promised that we would see the world together. Those silk lips sold silver linings that her personality couldn’t sponsor. Underneath her perfect swirl of African American and Indian skin she was not the beautiful person I’d hoped she would be.

Have you ever scrolled through someone's dating profile on a dating app and thought to yourself, "Can this person be serious"? Have you ever said, is it even possible for that to even happen? I find myself questioning a profile from a dating app that I came across years ago, and it has stayed with me. Now, the guy in the dating profile looked normal. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a beard. He was sitting on top of a BMW, and he dressed like he had money. When I say he was sitting on the BMW, I actually mean he was laying down across the hood of the BMW. Which, I’ll be honest, looked really embarrassing and uncomfortable.
Brooke HudsonPublished 3 years ago in HumansDO YOU BELIEVE IN SECOND CHANCES?
I know I don’t deserve it, but I am human. I believe in making mistakes no doubt…but I mean there is NO SUCH THING as perfection, really. Even if you have the belief that you are created in God’s image and His likeness, there still is no such thing as being absolutely no thing as being perfect. With all that said, I want you to know, dear Reader, that when it comes to building relationships, its hard to keep it completely sometimes.

As I sip on yet another vodka water in a crowded club, I think to myself, WHY?! Why did you allow yourself to be suckered into going out, and to Coco’s, of all places. Cocos is where older and younger people go to have dinner and drink and dance to Latin music. I despised places like this. It’s always sweaty creepy dudes and way too many women making bad decisions, both in fashion and who they leave with. Well, here I am. Pretending to be having a good time while two coworkers make out, and another is dancing with randoms. Then, bam! Did this motherfucker really just spill a drink on me??? Between the dance floor and the bar, there’s a small partition where these guys were drinking. Apparently their hands are sweaty too, cause he spilled his entire drink on my arm and my jacket I had resting on the partition. I was already kinda irritated so I flicked the drink at him and asked, “you want that back”?
The Stalker
This guy I went out with is the guy that gave me nightmares for weeks. When I first met up with him, we hung out with his roommate and friends around a campfire. It was fun, but he drank WAY too much. I didn’t drink so I helped him into the house and took care of him. I should have known that first meeting with him that things were going to end badly. He talked about this woman he dated who was crazy, she called the cops on him to get her stuff back and then tried to get back together with him. The whole thing sounded fishy, but I was willing to give this guy a shot despite that. Maybe she really was crazy. I learned after dating him that one should always trust their instincts about someone...
Brooke HudsonPublished 3 years ago in HumansThe hottest compliment a man ever gave me
A man once said something that literally made my toes curl. I’m not exaggerating. I clenched my fingers into my palms and my toes curled inside my shoes. It’s something I do anyway when I’m aroused, but it is very rare for this to happen with mere words.
