Don Jazzy Reveals He's Still Single at 38 Because of Something He Realized
The MAVIN leader is finally speaking out. Marriage, it is one of those things that we’re introduced to very quickly when we all start living and becoming aware of the world we live in. From a young age, there is a pressure to mingle and associate and even then at so young, when boys and girls became friends, there were always rumors from fellow classmates about both people being together.

Celebrities in Hollywood Are Hiring Celebrity Matchmakers For Love
Just a quick glance at any magazine and you will see how chaotic the romantic life of a celebrity can be. There’s always paparazzi following them everywhere they go. The scrutiny of their fans, and the choices for dating are very limited to say the least: Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Aniston, Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson & Jessica Simpson. They are in a relationship one day and the next day they are single and back on the search for the next person to date. At times they are caught up in the middle of a public celebrity relationship.

Before He Was Jimi
The public image of Jimi Hendrix is often of the musician standing on the stage the Monday morning of Woodstock, playing the National Anthem to a crowd the one-tenth the size of weekend audience. But before he was known as the greatest guitarist of all time, he was James Hendrix, Butch to his friends. He didn’t even start playing electric guitar until he was fifteen years old. His first gig was in the fall of 1959 in, of all places, Temple De Hirsh Sinai in Seattle, Washington. By all accounts, the shy sixteen-year-old wasn’t that accomplished. Of course that sentiment could be because at the dawn of the rock and roll era, garage bands were expected to cover the popular songs of the day, and not show self-expression. The result was that Hendrix was fired after the first set because the teens at the party could not dance to his erratic playing.

Give the Royal Family a break
I am looking at recent events surrounding the Royal family in a different light than most others and I believe they need to be given a break. Please remember that Prince Phillip is 99 and Queen Elizabeth is 93. They have lived for 9 decades in a world where people only look like they do. If anyone did question the color of baby Archie it’s nothing more than many black families have done. Whenever a child is of mixed race heritage there is always someone wondering what kind of complexion he or she will have.

Doug Davidson believes he is done on 'The Young and the Restless'
For the past 3 years, Doug Davidson fans have been complaining that the veteran actor on The Young and the Restless is not being treated fairly. Lauralee Bell who portrays Davidson's wife on the show has been seen twice in recent weeks, but his character Paul Williams has been noticeably absent. Disgruntled viewers signed a petition some time back and the actor said that he was going to be seen more in Genoa City. Instead, new characters are being added to the CBS daytime drama and Davidson says he is tired.

Meghan and Harry in 20/20 Hindsight. Top Story - March 2021.
I think it’s absolutely wonderful that Meghan Markle and Harry Windsor managed to find each other in this big crazy world and unite in a marriage obviously fueled by love and mutual admiration; it took incredible courage on both sides. It was so clearly a Cinderella story which captured the imagination of any romantic on either side of the pond.

The Women In Black
“I moved to California with my toddler and just $700 in my pocket.” Taraji Henson said looking decisively at the camera. It almost felt like she was looking at me. I had already failed at societys traditional expectations of having a relationship with your child’s father. And like most women separated from their baby daddy often feel: I felt like my dreams were so far out of my reach.

Ambition Unmasked
As a feminist, I have been able to rise to power though not always hold onto it. Once I had my seat at the table, I conformed and fit in. I never earned the C-Suite role I so desired in a corporate setting, yet in my volunteer organization I am viewed as a Director and sought after to host events leading teams of 20 or more people. This is something I want to figure out as I have a couple decades to go in the work force. It is no longer about climbing to the top of an organization. It is about earning a position of power in order to create space for others. I am not black, though I can recognize when someone is being marginalized.
