The Last of Us, The White Lotus, and Ted Lasso are the next three films, with the acclaimed business drama taking the lead.

The majority of this year's Emmy nominations—27—have gone to the concluding season of Succession.

Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Colin, and Sarah Shook are among the 14 actors nominated for the acclaimed HBO series. The nomination of three actors from the same show as lead actors in the same category is a first in the history of the Emmys.

Along with Andor, Better Call Saul, The Crown, House of the Dragon, Yellow jackets, The White Lotus, and The Last of Us, it will compete for the award for best drama series.

Pedro Pascal, who received nominations for both Saturday Night Live and Patagonia: Life on the Edge of the World, became the most-nominated Latino actor in a single year with his 24 nominations for HBO's video game adaptation, which featured actors Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal.

Jeff Bridges for The Old Man and Bob Odenkirk for Better Call Saul's final season, which received seven nominations, round out the best actor in a drama series category along with the Succession leads and Pascal.

Snook and Ramsey will compete against Sharon Morgan for Bad Sisters, Melanie Lynskey for Yellow jackets, Elisabeth Moss for The Handmaid's Tale, and Keri Russell for the Netflix sensation The Diplomat for the award for best actress in a drama series.

The White Lotus, an HBO production, received 23 nominations for its second season, making it the third most nominated show overall. Aubrey Plaza, Jennifer Coolidge, and Meghan Fahy all received acting awards.

Ted Lasso led the comedy categories with 21 nominations, including acting nods for Jason Sudeikis, Juno Temple, and Hannah Waddingham. Along with Abbott Elementary, Only Murders in the Building, Barry, Jury Duty, The Bear, Wednesday, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisey, it will compete in the best comedy series category.

The historical comedy from Amazon received 14 nominations, with Rachel Brosnahan competing against Christina Applegate for Dead to Me, Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary, Natasha Lyonne for Poker Face, and Jenna Ortega for Wednesday for best comedy actress.

In the category for best actor in a comedy series, Sudeikis competes against Martin Short for Only Murders in the Building, Bill Hader for Barry, Jason Segel for Shrinking, and Jeremy Allen White for The Bear.

Beef and Dahmer, who each received 13 nominations, led the pack in the categories for limited or anthology series or films. They will face off against Daisy Jones and the Six, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Fleischman Is in Trouble, which received nine nominations and was a surprise hit with Emmy voters.

Daniel Radcliffe for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Taron Egerton for the thriller series Black Bird on the Apple, and Elizabeth Debicki for The Crown were among the other British actors honored. The Netflix royals drama, however, only received six nominations this year, despite being a previous Emmys favorite.

This year, 38 actors were nominated for the first time, including Dominique Fish back for Swarm, James Marsden for the smash hit Jury Duty, and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun for Beef.

The 75th anniversary ceremony is scheduled to take place this year on September 18, but a potential actors' strike as well as the writers' strike could cause a significant delay. According to reports, based on guild resolutions, November or January may be viable months. The Daytime Emmys for this year were moved from their original June date to a yet-undetermined date.

Frank Scherma, president of the television academy, said during this morning's announcement, "We hope the ongoing guild negotiations can come to a swift and equitable conclusion.".

Significant victories were achieved by Ted Lasso, The White Lotus, and Succession last year.
