Once there was a competition between God Brahma and God Vishnu. They wanted to know who is powerful among them. They both decided to get a conclusion from God Shivan.

On the way, they both saw Maharishi Naradar. Both the Gods made their points. God Brahma said that He is the creator so He is the powerful one. God Vishnu said that He is protecting the creation as protection is more work than creation. So Maharishi went along with them to see the ending.

They reached Kailash (Place of God Shivan & Goddess Parvati) where they saw God Shivan is in deep meditation state. They did not disturb so they waited. The waiting made Narada to come up with an idea.

Maharishi Naradar gave a suggestion. “Dear Lords, Why not you both touch God Shivan’s head or toe to come to a conclusion.”

God Vishnu chose to touch Lord Shiva’s feet. God Brahma chose to touch Lord Shivan’s head.

The competition started. God Vishnu went deep down and with all His love touched the feet of God Shivan and secured His blessings and grace.

On the other hand, God Brahma was going up and cannot even see anything even God Shivan’s hair. He felt as if going forever. Finally He was light headed. Understanding the situation, He came back to Maharishi.

To God Brahma’s surprise, God Vishnu is happily standing without any tiredness and holding a flower in His hands. God Brahma understood that God Shivan is easily pleased with pure love without any ego. EGO means Edging Out God.

Both Gods were happy now without any feel of competition. Finally they got together. Prayed to Lord Shivan’s blessings.

Lord Brahma in here symbolizes our ego. The more the ego is the less is the humbleness and we will stay far away from God’s grace flowing from His feet.

Lord Vishnu in here symbolizes our love. The more the love is the more the humbleness so God is always near us. Stay Humble, Stay Secured by God.

All the Gods enacted a drama here to show us the path of divine victory.

“What’s NEXT?” is the Mantra for Life — Penn Deivam Kannagi.

What’s next is the beautiful mantra taught to me by my mother. “What’s next” is Great people’s Mantra. Here is the short Story of Kannagi Deivam from Silappathigaram, A legendary Women — Who went from human to Goddess position.

Kannagi’s husband Kovalan left Kannagi for a beautiful dancer called Madhavi. Madhavi had a luxurious life with Kovalan. When Kovalan was losing money, Madhavi’s lust for Kovalan began to decrease and asked him to leave her house.

Kovalan had no other place to go. He came back to Kannagi. Kannagi was sitting quietly near a pillar. She heard a walking steps towards her. She slowly opened her eyes. Kovalan’s shadow was there. She recognized its her husband who left her for 15 years.

She gently stood up and asked, “ Welcome, You look very tired. How can I help you?”

Kovalan was shocked to see no reaction from his wife. He narrated his whole life with Madhavi. Kannagi listened to everything patiently and removed her one foot golden anklet. She gave the anklet and said “I hope this will help you to go back to the dancer to be accepted by her.”

Kovalan was ashamed. He looked at Kannagi and said “My dear Kannagi, I came to be with you. I learnt my lesson. Kindly accept me and come with me,please.”

Immediately, Kannagi packed her clothes and started her journey with him. That’s the peak of women’s self confidence. Such a strong woman. When they both reached the guest house, food was served to both of them. While eating, Kovalan could not hold the question. He asked Kannagi “Dear, You came immediately no questions asked. why?”.

Kannagi replied “You went to do an immoral undisciplined act. I cannot fight that”.

That means she implied “I can fight to attain the law if there is morality. But my standard of moral is very high so you came back to me without me doing anything.”

That’s the power of silence and morality. All we have to do is right deeds, right thoughts and right actions with goodness in intentions. Everything you wanted will come and fall at your feet easily.
