So Many Choices... so I say choose them all!

I would have to say that a big part of this challenge was having to choose from all the amazing movies and series that I have added to my collection of favorites over the years.

When it comes to art of any kind, my appreciation and love comes with a very wide scope. I do not nest in one place. I love to explore, but there are a few key ingredients when it comes to reeling me in for the catch as far as books and movies and series.

I am a definite push over for a powerful story of love. Absolute, unconditional, shake the universe love! The kind of love that one never expects or hopes to find. It sneaks up on you quietly and takes you by surprise. It rattles and scares you while making you soar above the clouds. You want to run the other way but find yourself drawn in, with no way to ignore it and pretend it is not happening. It gives you the inspiration to be the best version of you. It understands and accepts differences. It has kindness and empathy. It is not selfish and does not have expectations. It feels like real family and home. It becomes your best friendship. And best of all real love stays, even when circumstances cause distance. It always finds its way back if it is true and real, no matter the type of relationship or love, if it is real it is always there.

I would have to say that one of the most powerful and inspiring movies of love that I have seen is The Choice by Nicolas Sparks. Benjamin Walker and Teresa Palmer have such chemistry and they find themselves wanting to resist what is happening and during the process of becoming friends the realization that it is so much more than that they both fight it until they can not fight for another moment. They both must make the choice to break off the past and people they thought that they wanted to be with. After giving into the love, and a future they want, there is an event that takes a blind leap of faith and listening to your heart. It is a truly inspiring story of love and hope.

There are so many awesome stories of love I would like to also recommend. Among them are Here on Earth by Michael Seitzman. Chris Klein and Leelee Sobieski have great chemistry. This story inspires one to be their best self and that sometimes love means to let go and wish someone happiness even if it hurts. It also addresses the fear of having to literally let go of the one we love when they die, and of doing it with grace and peace and strength. It is a powerful story of unconditional love.

As far as a series that is a powerful and inspirational story of love that I would recommend is Virgin River. It is a Netflix original series. It inspires faith and listening to your heart and even the selflessness of wanting the one you love to be happy even if you must step aside. Of course, in doing that you just may find out that the strength of your love can overcome any obstacle.

There are so many amazing stories of powerful and real love that it would take all day to list them all, so my advice would be to grab the remote and your favorite person and the best popcorn you can find and watch as many as you can find. And when true love knocks at your door just open it and welcome it home to stay!
